Feeling Happy
Hearing Radiodread: by Easy Star All Stars
I know you've been following this as closely as I have, and you were
glued to the tube for their Grammy performance. So you'll be
as thrilled as I am to know that The Police have made it official. Or
as LiveDaily put it, they've made official "the worst kept secret in
the industry." Assuming none of us were on hand to witness them perform
at their induction to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in person, this
will be our very first opportunity to catch The Police playing live
together since 1984. Now that's what I call a reunion tour. None of this "We've taken 2 years off, so let's call it a reunion tour" crap. Hallelujah!
Here's what you need to know, straight from LiveDaily.com:
--Live Nation, said during the press conference that ticket prices will average a little under $100, and will be tiered at $225, $90 and $50. Tickets go on sale beginning Saturday (2/17) in select markets; more information is in the itinerary below.
--Following the initial North American shows, The Police will head to the UK, Holland, Germany and Italy, among other European destinations. The group is expected to return to North America in October for another round of shows, to be followed by stops in Mexico, South America, Japan, Australia and New Zealand.
--The setlist will consist entirely of material from The Police--none from Sting's solo career.

How do some ticket sellers on ebay already have tickets to some of the shows jacked up to $1499 each when the tickets haven't gone on sale yet?
