How's this for a bizarre bouillabaisse recipe of a summer tour:
1 tbsp Cyndi Lauper
1 heaping tsp Erasure
1 heaping tsp Debbie Harry (Yes, she of Blondie fame)
1/2 tsp Dresden Dolls
1 pinch The Gossip
1 pinch The Misshapes

What do they have in common? I guess you could say they all have sort of a glammy, theatrical take on presentation. The first half are retro, and the second half are neo-retro. But what really ties them all together is the rallying cry of Cyndi's support of the Human Rights Campaign, a gay-and-lesbian advocacy group. A good cause, and a good cause to hit the road.

Went thinking we were supporting equal rights and hoping to enjoy a great concert by some of my favorite artists. Ended up being an X rated swear fest. Joined the line asking and getting a full refund. Don't bring the kids to this one... in fact, by your music on line and forget this show.
