FESTIVAL NEWS: River to River Festival Takes Over Manhattan All Summer Long
sunny summer days? Spend them sans music? I think not! And that's where the River to
River Festival comes in. With events spread out throughout the summer at a wide variety
of locations around the city, there's something to suit any mood, be it light and breezy,
heavy and angsty, deep and poetic, or sly and jazzy.
Here are just a few of the ones that sparked my interest. I mean, haven't you always
wanted to go to a Swedish Midsummer Festival?! Don't worry, it's a hipster paradise,
too, with shows from artists like Martha Wainwright, the New Pornographers,
