Feeling Happy

I have a Peeping Cat

This is us at Miami Zoo 2 years ago.....want to go back!

Hi Everyone,

It's Tuesday only 8 1/2 working days left till vacation, and believe me I'm counting the hours!  My pasty white body needs some SUN!Not much is new, not that it could be since its too cold to ever leave the house except to go to work and the grocery store.  And take it from a New England when I say its cold it is...lol we think 35 degree's is warm.  Those lying weather man can not predict the day before weather...all last week, snow was predicted and we got nothing!  Then they called for a sunny weekend and we got a mini snow storm Sunday giving us another 3-4 inches with 50 mph plus winds....Nice (I'm being sarcastic if you couldn't tell).

Oh Well I wanted to let everyone now I have a peeping Tom for a cat or should I say a peeping Delilah.  Her new thing now is to jump on the tub while you are showering she watches you through the shower curtain liner...It's a little creepy.  Yesterday she fell in while I was taking a shower and jumped out giving me the evil kitty eye, like its my fault she fell in.

I have not done much other than staying in on the weekends and catching up on all the movies I have not watched on dvd.  Ok here is the Tabby movie update:  Into the blue with Jessica Alba-pleasantly surprised it was rather good which I was not expecting and the ocean scenes where beautiful (We have Blu-Ray Disc, the quality is awesome), Next with Nicholas Cage, another surpriser...get this movie its about a Vegas performer who can see 2 minutes into the future and the govt is after him to help him stop terrorist which he wants no part of, until he has to because they kidnap his girlfriend...3 thumbs up; Harts War- with Bruce Willis and Colin Farrell portrays a story in a POW camp during world war 2, I usually dont go for this kind of movie but another good one, Ok last review is for a movie called Eastern Promises-  What a thriller, we where totally engrossed, some graphic moments (blood, russian mafia)but if you can get past that it was very very good.

Well I hope everyone enjoys their week!

I love going to zoos. I hope one day to be able to go to the Miami one. It has been pretty cold here also. I know what you mean when you say that 35 is warm. LOL We just got about 10 inches of snow. I hope we are done. School cancelled today. My daughter is happy. Your cat sounds so cute. I had a cat that we would play hide and seek and he would always hide in the tub and jump out at you when you didn't expect it. So cute.  I loved the movie Next. I haven't seen Into the Blue or Harts War. I did see some of Eastern Promises but shut it off after awhile because I had a hard time getting into it. I love all the pictures you put in your journal. Have a great weekend and vacation. Take tons of pictures. Hugs

How cool. I grew up in Miami and my grandfather was the General Manager of the Crandon Park Zoo.  That was a long time ago. Crandon Park Zoo is gone and now it's just a park to suck in the tourist dollars. Unfortunately Key Biscayne is not what it used to be. :-)
