Good bye Sweet Slushy...you will be missed

Hi All

Well after 19 wonderful years my mom's siamese cat Slushy passed away in her sleep while sleeping on Mom's feet.  I bought this cat when I was 21 years old.  I was determined to have a kitten because I was living alone in an apartment so on a slushy and snowy nite I ventured out and picked up my kitten who I named Slushy.  When I moved back home for a year or two my mom had grown very attached to her, so I let her have her.  She was a beautiful cat with huge blue eyes and dark brown markings, her meow's sounded like a baby crying.  She was a active and lovable friend to the end.  She is now buried in the garden with a little memorial to her.  I'm on a mission now to find mom a new kitten, she wants another Siamese or a black one.  I have been looking but now a days they want between $300-$350 for a Siamese, I am hoping I will luck out and find one cheaper.  It stinks to love and lose a pet as they are like part of our family.  I'm grateful I have my Delilah to come home to.  I will let you know how the great kitten search goes......

I am so sorry to hear about your Mom's dog. I don't know what I would do if something happened to my Bambi dog. I hope you find her another cat real soon. Have a great weekend. Hugs

I know your mom misses Slushy. I hope you find her one she can love. I use to have Cocoa and Brownie and raised little ones. Brownie was the female and she was so delicate and loved to ride in the car. Haven't had a siamese since. Paula
