Final Weekend
So the Tigers get to play for absolutely Nothing this weekend. They did there part by splitting the series with Chicago to give Cleveland a chance although Cleveland seems to be cracking under the pressure. Yet they sit only 1 game out of the wildcard with 2 to go.
So i guess the question is Whats Next??
- Fire Trammel??
- Trade Pudge??
- Increase Payroll get better pitching??
- Scrap it all and Start Over???
A lot of questions are out there How will the Tiger Brass Respond. Who Knows!!

Knowing your Role
Wow its nice to be able to watch a meaningless game and thourouhly enjoy it. The Tigers looked Primed to play the role of spoiler as they took the first game in the 4 game series against the current division leading ChiSox.
I dont care how bad the team is...A Walk off homerun is something special. Grandersons Dinger in the Ninth yesterday was definitely a lot of fun.
But lost in that was the clutch pitching performances by Jamie Walker and Chris Spurling, Walker striking out his man with one out and men at second and third than Spurling coming in and Mowing dowm Jermaine Dye to end the inning, it was pretty.
So round 2 tonight. Go Tigers, Go Tribe.

Role Of Spoiler
The Season is over we all know that, but the Tigers have a chance to to help make some history. The next 4 games they play The Chicago White Sox, currently Chicago is holding on to a 2-1/2 game lead on the Cleveland Indians in the Central Division.
Chicago had held a 15 game lead on the Indians in early August. And the tribe managed to cut that lead to 1-1/2 at one point. But with only 7 games left for the Sox this series against Detroit is very important. So im hoping the Tigers Sweep them, Yes i said sweep them, Granted Detroit has won what like 5 or 6 games this month. But i remember how they rallied 2 years ago to win their last 6 to avoid getting the worst team ever record. I hope they get up for these games and beat the sugar out of the Sox. GO TRIBE>

Oh Yeah
Gee with Football in full swing and the Red Wings starting tonight, and the Tigers off on the West Coast the last 3 days i totally forgot to whine about them. Well nothing to whine about really, they continue to lose. They have dissention in the clubhouse, rumors of the manager being fired, and Pudge just being a total A HOLE.
So basically its time to write off the season as a total waste of my time and energy. What was and should of been a promising year turned into yet another season of Mediocrity.
Rod Allen mario Impemba
Im telling you if it wasn't for me enjoying the banter between Mario Impemba and Rod Allen on FSN broadcasts im not so sure i would of watched as many games as i have this year. Thats saying a lot these 2 announcers get no respect for what they do. I TRY to watch other games on MLB LEAGUE PASS, but the announcers are brutal and boring. Thank our lucky stars the best thing this franchise has going for it is its ALL STAR broadcasting team. Keep up the Good Work Mario and Rod.

Sept 10th
Well we are 10 days into september and the Tigers have nothing to show in the win column except a big goose egg. 9 losses in a row...What happened to the whol "oh we are still in the wild card hunt" Trammel was promoting the last week of August. Nothing like taking a dump at the end of the season. Way to motivate Trammel. This seasons lack of success goes on Trammel. Too much tinkering. But that arguments getting old.
Id like to see the tigers go 0 for september than Maybe just Maybe, Illitch and DUMBrowski will fire Trammel. I dont care if there is 20 odd games left Just fire him now. Im tired of watching the games and looking at the disgust he shows on his face. I went to the game on Wednesday and i wanted to jump over the wall run over to trammel and slap him in the face and say hey "when you show disgust on your face it rubs off on your players, you dont show confidence and it rubs off you dolt"
Speaking of wednesday, i want my money back Illitch. That was one big stinker of a game thank you very much.
Now i have to be a tribe fan the rest of the way out so i have someone to root on to knock the Yanks out of a playoff spot. (yes Ohio Leblog i said a tribe fan).

PATHETIC
I have to go to a company outing tomorrow at Comerica Park to watch the scoreless in 27 oops they just scored one run. Tigers. Pathetic. Pathetic. Pathetic.
They better score 14 tomorrow.
If they lose tomorrow Trammel Better be fired by the end of the week. This last streak has been horrid. Every time they hit .500 or get near it they go on a crap streak. That falls on the manager. Tinkering Tinkering Tinkering with his lineup. Im tired of it. It put them right out of Playoff Contention...sometimes enough is enough.....ummm Trammelll BYE

Slipping Away
Well we have reached the final month of the season, and focus is lost. The Tigers are on a current 3 game losing streak. I would'nt be upset over the streak if not for how bad they have played. Pitching is non existant. Hitting is untimely. This is a team that has given up mentally.
I put all the blame on Manager Alan Trammel, he has done nothing to spark this team all year. A team Loaded with Talent but no Heart. This has been the best Tiger Team on Paper since '97, and Trammel has coached like Buddy Bell, Crappy.
Its time to go. His Legend will not be damaged. He was an awesome Player, but that doesn't coralate to success as a manager.

Time to Go
A few years ago when Mike Illitch brought in Alan Trammel and Kirk Gibson, a definite ploy to sell more tickets, they were in a Commercial where Trammels line to Kirk Gibson was "Its Time....Lets GO!!!". Well Trammell "its time....for you to go."

Trammel had an opportunity to get this team on a roll to end the season and make a push for the very wide open Wild Card spot, but it looks as though he is letting the ship go down just like last year.
Its Time....time to bring in a more seasoned Veteran Manager. Someone like Lou Pinella who should be fired by years end.
Lets Go....lets go return the tickets i have for next wednesdays Game.
I thought this team could make a run to finish the season but apparently not with Trammel. He made a jackhole of himself again yesterday. Arguing a call that was correct but choosing not to argue the incorrect call. Pathetic.
Well i guess i should become an Indians fan...ack ack....blah NO WAY.

Feeling Happy
Hearing Foo Fighters : In Your Honor
Almost Even
Tigers have an opportunity to get back to .500 this upcoming week against the Oakland Athletics, after Sweeping the Toronto Blue Jays in impressive fashion.
SWEEP BABY SWEEP
If it wasn't for the boneheaded managerial call earlier in the week, when Trammel took a hot pitcher out in the ninth and go on to lose the game against the Red Sox, the Tigers would be at .500.
With 40 games to go if the Tigers want to make any kind of push for the Wild Card, they need to win the next 3 series', Home against the A's and on the road in Boston and Cleveland. Having won 7 of 8 they are looking hot, but can they sustain the momentum against an A's team that made them look bad a few weeks back. Well we will find out Tuesday.

Carlos Pena made a statement this weekend. After being called up from Toledo on Friday Pena hit 3 home runs this weekend and looked confident at the plate and on defense. I dont think this kid wants to go back to Toledo again.

Say Goodbye to Tram??
Wow if it wasn't for a bone headed managerial decison by Alan Trammel the Tigers would be sitting on a five game winning streak going into the series agains the Toronto Blue Jays.

Well its official im printing up my FIRE ALAN TRAMMEL T-shirts now. I think Tiger Fans have finally seen enough of him making assinine decision after assinine decision. Nate Robertson was pitchiing a phenominal game the other night with under 95 pitches and he pulls him out in the 9th. He makes as many jackassy decisions as Sparky Anderson did. Sparky used to pull a guy who may have went 3 for 4 all night just to put a different handed batter in there. Percentages dont always work, sometimes you need to manage from your gut. To me Trammel has no passion. He not only makes bad player moves he picks the most inopportune time to get ejected from a game. Last week he got himself ejected for arguing with homeplate umpire about not allowing Vance Wilson to take first base when it was totally apparent Wilson leaned into it. But the night previous he doesn't even say a word to the ump for making a bad call at first. Its pathetic and as a Tiger Fan its time to put up or shut up and Trammel is doing a lot of talking but no results. I say BUH-BYE. and its time to start whispering in Lou Pinella's ear. Pinellas unfortunately hasn't been fired from the Devil Rays yet(lord knows it seems hes trying), but im sure by years end hes out. Tigers need a proven manager who manages from his gut.

But on to the Toronto series, Lets take 3 so i have something positive to talk about Sunday.
