Medieval Castle

I made this castle out of boxes from cereal and other stuff. My mom and I covered them with wrapping paper that looks like rocks. I also used craft sticks and toilet paper tubes and craft foam. The catapult is made of wood and a clothespin and a craft stick. It really works. You just put what you want to fling in the bottle cap that is glued to the craft stick.

Earth Day

(If you don't know about Book Crossing, my Mom's "book shelf" is HERE.)

My family spent most of the day taking part in Book Crossing's Earth Day Release Challenge. We began in Salt Lake City at the Gateway Mall. I love the Snowflake Fountain so we left a book on a bench there. I played in the fountain...

Then we left a book at this statue:

We went to the Apple Store and then left a book about Johnny Appleseed on the bench out front. Then we went to a book store so I could find a couple more of the Naruto graphic novels that I like so much. Then Mom took me to Hot Topic and I got a Lynyrd Skynyrd t-shirt, a Misfits t-shirt and a Naruto pen. We left a book on a bench in front of Hot Topic, too.

Then we drove around Salt Lake City and left books here and there. We took Redwood Road through South Salt Lake, Taylorsville, and South Jordan, leaving books all the way to Lehi where we stopped at an Arctic Circle for lunch. Of course, we left a book there, too. Our book release was made at Starbuck's in American Fork. It was a fun day.

Happy Earth Day. I hope everyone was able to have some Earth Day fun.

P.S. My Mom just showed me that "Go Go Godzilla" is one of "The Most Commented AOL Blogs" today. Thanks Everyone!!!!!!
