overheardinnewyork.com

That's the name of a website I've been sporadically addicted to for about two years.  It's a collection of brief conversations overheard by people in New York City.  Don't go there if you are easily offended.

Here is one overheard verbal exchange I thought worthy of an illustration.  You just gotta love them New Yorkers!!

I laughed at this one.  I ride the city bus all the time and have heard more loud explicit cell phone conversations! They have found a way to torture a whole busload of people.  I call them the louds.  Modern inventions arenot always an improvement on the quality of living.   Gerry

Chicklet & I went through all her clothes for the move, & came up with 8 shopping bags of 'Donate' for a women's shelter.  The lady next door to her wanted the clothes to sell. She said: Why would anyone donate anything they could sell? ~ I'm feeling I don't need a site.
Lady is still pissed we didn't give her the clothes. ~Mary hug & kiss
