After a rough start this week, Neill has been steadily getting stronger and cuter! I think these pictures speak for themselves... He sees, he hears, he sits and toddles along... I dare say he is becoming a regular puppy... nothing could make us happier!

With Neill doing well, and a willing and able American bulldog babysitter to help out, I decided to take the kids, Denis & Gena, to their first show (We all NEEDED to get out... LOL)... On Saturday, Denis won Reserve, and today he was Winner's dog for his first point! His sister Gena was reserve today... not bad for a first weekend of shows! Denis' win pic to follow....

Well, I dare say we are over the hump... looking nice and fat now with one eye open, although he is sleeping in both these pics... He is 2 weeks today... the congestion still lingers, but it doesn't seem to be hindering him any more... thanks for all the good thoughts... may he continue to thrive and grow strong!

I feel like we are doing pretty good... Neill is still plugging along and is actually gaining weight... he is about 19 oz, so gaining consistently... we still have the congestion, but it doesn't seem to be getting any worse, and might be a little better... his eyes are still closed although I can see some watery slits, so hoping he may see me soon... I will get some updated pics up soon... Thank you everyone for the positive energies... I believe they are working...

Please keep the good thoughts coming our way... Neill has gained a good amount since I posted yesterday... he is however still very congested, so I am treating that. The good news is today's X-rays show NO pneumonia... so that is a positive sign...

Positive energy

HI all, I know a lot of you have been following Neill's progress, so I am asking for your help... prayers, positive energy, whatever you subscribe too... the last couple days have been tough... he isn't gaining as well as he was and seems to be getting congested a bit ... so now I fear that could become pneumonia... Please keep him in your thoughts... we have come so far...

We made it a whole week! Neill is growing pretty steadily now, albeit mostly from bottle feedings, but we don't care how it happens, just so long as he keeps growing! Enjoy a few pics of him snuggling with his "littermate"

Well, it has been a long week, but we are doing well... Little Neill is gaining now. After 2 nights with the American Bulldog momma, he was strong enough to stay with Purl alone... and to take a bottle from me.. so far so good, although I still tread with caution... I may be biased, but I think he is perfect!
