Feeling Happy
Hearing "Sitting Up In My Room" by: Brandy
Weekend Assignment
Weekend Assignment #166: Name the three songs you listen to when you totally want to rock out. Note that they don't actually have to be rock songs -- they can be in any genre whatsoever, and from any era. They just have to be the songs that get you pumped up and ready to go.
It's been quite a while since I've taken part in a Weekend Assignment. That being said it's music and I love music. Anyway, the subject isn't important but still. I have to pick three songs and that's hard for me. Still, let's see what I've got, heh?
1. "Girlfriend" by: Avril Lavigne
Why ask why? I just love the song! It's a really catchy hook and I find myself singing it for no apparent reason. The song isn't great lyrically, in fact, it's kind of hokey. "Hey, you I wanna be your girlfriend." and lines like,"She's so whatever!" Still, for some reason when I hear it I instantly start singing along.

2. "The Middle" by: Jimmy Eat World
A friend of mine played the song for me and I went online and looked up the lyrics. I liked the song to start with but it's a great song lyrically. The music is great but I love the meaning behind the song and at that point I just needed to hear a song that made me smile and made me think. Perfect!

Pure adenline rush song! I usually listen to this when I've got something big going on. For instance it became a go to when I was studying for finals or when I was doing something that required major skill! Basically, I thought of it like a theme song. Weird, but true.

Extra Credit: And name one song to cool you back down.

I thought "The Middle" was like Kriss Kross... "you can get the finger...the middle."
