Evidently U.S. intelligence is expecting something to go boom in Torino. I just saw this headline on MSNBC.com:

Olympic terror concern focuses on two fronts:
The United States believes some violence will take place

The only question - will it come from Islamic radicals, or homegrown Italian anarchists (who have repeatedly disrupted he Olympic torch relay in recent days and weeks).

Let's hope they're wrong!

    Part of this concern stems from TOROC's non-acceptance of an offer made by USA security agencies (e.g,  FBI) to assist.   This situation is in stark contrast to the Athens 2004 Olympics where Greece welcomed US involvement and such agencies as the FBI, CIA, DEA, NSA, and even, Homeland Security greatly supported the security effort.
