'Princessy' Johnny Weir goes slumming in the Olympic Village

God, I LOVE Johnny Weir! Bode Miller may be getting all the attention - and catching all the heat - for his now legendary outspokenness, but he ain't got nothing on figure skater Johnny Weir. Johnny's remarks, replete with outlandish drug references, during last month's figure skating nationals had me rolling on the floor. (Read this article for some choice examples, including his 'princessy' criticism of roughing it in the non-luxury digs at the athletes' village.)

Then listen to Johnny's interview on Sports Bloggers Live. I'm bitter that I missed this one! I'm pretty sure we don't play for the same team, but I am totally in love with Johnny Weir! Don't let them ever shut you up, baby!

Johnny, at the athlete shopping spree in Torino:

U.S. Figure Skating National Champion Johnny Weir makes his way to the exit with a shopping cart full of clothes and shoes after going through USA Olympic Team processing prior to the start of the Turin 2006 Winter Olympic Games on February 6, 2006 in Turin, Italy. Nike and Roots are the official team apparel of the 2006 U.S. Olympic Team
