'Cause he lost it on the medal stand, and it's a beautiful thing to see a gnarly dude like him get all emotional when he sees his flag raised and hears his national anthem.
After which the Flying Tomato rendered Bob Costas speechless by telling him that he was going to use his new bling to hit on Sasha Cohen.

You've gotta love the "Napoleon Dynamite" of the half-pipe. His unabashed tears of joy and obvious pride on the medal stand are what the Olympics are all about.
