French alpine skier Pierre-Emmanuel Dalcin has been fined the
maximum allowed -- $3,800 -- for making an obscene gesture in front of
cameras after his poor run in today's super-G event.
You know,it's super-annoying when reporters write articles about things like this and then don't provide any illustrations. As a public service, we herewith provide a link to the photo of Dalcin making said obscene gesture.
The photo isn't at all shocking, but we'll add the obligatory warning - don't click if you're easily offended.

I do feel the fine is a pittance, and would rather see him ejected from future Winter olympics competition in Torino, as this gesture goes against everything that the International Olympic Comittee is trying to foster with aims of brotherhood and peace among all participants and the crowds.
