Today I decided to walk over to check out the Olympic Village, where
the athletes live in Torino. While I was there I ran into figure skater
Emily Hughes!
Emily was with someone, I think her coach, purchasing merchandise at the Olympic store in the Village, where I happened to be browsing for short track pins. It's so lucky that Emily was there, because the running joke all last week was that I look exactly like her!
First a friend told me she thought I looked like Emily, then the next day at work my coworkers were saying so too! So naturally I've been wanting to get my pic taken with Emily but I never really expected to have the opportunity. Emily was nice enough to agree to a photo. I guess it was fate!
By the way, as always - she looks shorter in real life!
Check out some more photos of the Olympic Village in my photo album.

I love watching the Olympic's
But i do wish that the press woud stop saying that this person or the other person is sure to win his or her event the kids have enough pressuer on them without the press adding to it. -
Good for you! I hope Emily does qute well.
