Farewell To Flakey...please have fun at the Bridge

Tonight out Flakey brother went to Rainbow Bridge.  Mine mama cryin.  He wasn't good last week or two even though they tried everything but the very expensive stuff.

Dr. Ann said it was either kidney failure, diabetes, or a tumor... so mama held him while his sedative took effect, then she kiss him goodbye and cry someone, he look at her lovingly and she left before he crossed to bridge.

I not think mama make it to the hunt tonight, but please if anybody at the bridge see Flakey, please welcome him and play wiff him and remind him how much we all loved him.

    Thanks, Alee... We are all doing well here today...I know it was the right thing, and just shot off a note to the vet staff thanking them for their compassion and love they showed to me and to Flakes.  Gosh, they even let me leave without paying the bill LOL but I've been a patron there for 30 years or so, so they know I'm good for it.  Of course, I scooted out the back door, in tears and cried all the way home.

    Wheezel seems most distressed but if you follow my other journal at all ( I don't know if you're linked to it ... send me an email address to donna 9331 and I'll add you to the readers writers if you're interested in reading about my "life part 4"... there's a lot more there on Flakey.  Right now I'm on the edge of my chair (Pirate has the rest LOL) Wheez is at my right, Mouse is on the windowsill watching the birds at the birdfeeder and Missy Toe is asleep on the cat tree.  I think Chessy is looking out the screendoor.

    Don't be a stranger...I think of you often too.

    Chessie and Mommy,
    I am so sorry that Flakey had to leave you and your family. I know how hard that is to undersand.

    My prayers are with you, you are very frequently in my thoughts.  

    Yes, we do know that there are so many playmates for Flakey at the Bridge. Perhaps my Tasha and Lacey will be there to give a snuggle or two.
