Dis morning, mama open front door like she always do so we can look out thru glass storm door...AND DERE HE WAS...It was a GIANT MOUSEY...even big as me...and bigger dan Mousie!!!!!

Mama saw it and said ewww...dat a possum! Him not scared of mama making noise on scream door but finally him goed away. Her been keeping trash hauler close to deck so it easy to get to (special in winter) but we fink we moffing it back to old spot until it start to snow.

Mama say they like to eat garbage in cans, but we hardley effer throw stuff like dat away. Maybe he after out kitty litter pee balls and poo? We not know.

We just want him to never come around again. Him UGGGGGLY!

Me and Mousey watching, him seem to be gone now, hunting udder pwaces. Bye bye you possum and not to come back, okay? DAT AN ORDER!

Dis what mama buy us yesterday at de store. Man...it werk good on kitty with thick undercoats wike Weezel and Toey. What dey say on package it troof...be bery gentle, no pressure. DO NOT LEAVE CEILING FAN ON while doing dis. Trust me on dis one. AND you bedder have vacuum cleaner redy when you done!!!!

Dere wuz fur EBERYWHERE last night just from Wheez and Toey. Toey especial have thick fur. She LOVE it Furminator. Wheezel even let mama use it on her tumtum dis morning. Ever time her use it, she git tennis ball sizes of fluff out of kits. We first saw the spensive one and mama not could spend $50. Den the girl at the pet store show her dis littler one for $25. It has 30 day guarantee if you not like, you take back. But WE LIKE!

It has hard metal comb that has a crook in it. You not supposed to use it for matts (dats why toey has a cuple bald spots, mama had to cut some matts out last week). She not use is on me BERY much cause I kinda sleek kit -- not much undercoat at all. And Mouse has very skinny coat, hardly NO undercoat.

But Wheez and Toey have BERY thick fur. This really helpinig them feel better in the heat mama think. Wheez come running when she saw mama had furminator out today! hehe. She brush her all ober...eben her tail...and you just NOT BELIEF how much dead undercoat come out.

You must follow directions careful since de blades ARE steel and you not want to hurt skin. But if you have bery thick fur, you might ask mama or dad to safe pennies and buy you one of these. It wurk better than anything mama ever try on us.

Sorry it been so long since I writed. Mama never did take Toey to vet for eye. It looking very better since mama trying much harder to get second dose of meds in. Her still haf to wipe up brownish spots offa de floors when her herpes eye runny, but that cause her tear duckt is blocked off, and vet not want to do surgery to fix. We can handle cuple spots on floor. oh yeah, we cen.

Pirate is doing gud, he be 14 this September. Wheezel and Toey are grouchy as eber wiff me (sheesh, girls) and Chester is my best friend. I hab taken over Flakey's job of sleeping iff Pirate on the bed while mama werks. We cuddle togedder sometime efen doe it summer.

So dat it for now, we is all well and fine and gud (except me wishes mama could stay home more and so duz she) but she says if she not go to werk, we not have cat fud, so I think she bedder to go to werk. Bye for now, pease to wet me know how you all doing...

Hi,it me Chester 'gain. Mommy maked appt to take MissyToe to doctor on Wed July 2 to get her eye checked out. We know she has block tear duct and prolly ocular (eye) herpes, but it not seem to be getting any better even with VERY spensive meds.

Mama wanna know what Dr. Manharth think. Is Toey is pain all day long every day? If yes, that not wurth it. Mama very afraid she may haffa join Flakey. But Quality of life is always better than Quantity....so puleeze keep finners crossed for us and Toey in coming weeks.

Whenever she jump out of kitty litter box or offa counter top, she leaves spots on the floor that lookey almos' like blud. That not gud thing. Mama keep putting drops in her eye 2x a day. Maybe this is just how it will be since tear duct may be clog and mama can deal wiff dat...as LONG as toey not in pain.

Color my mama wurried. We just los' Flakey. We dum wanna loose anudder kid.

mama gitted to come home 2 hour early today cuz wurk was slow. dat otay wiff her.

Mousey Mouse sitting right in front of screen scrouched down so mama can see what I dictate. He funny boy. He git mama up starting at 5am by licking her nose. Good thing he no got bad bref. He still liddle. He look a lot like a siamese or abbysinian or something oriental with them BIG ears and high cheekbones. And talk? Oh, he very vocal.

Things been quiet around here. We still miss Flakey (especially Pirate I think cause he sleeps on mama's pillow where Flakes usta sleep. I saw Mouse curled up wiff him dere de udder day keepin him company/

Wheezel doing pretty good on the regular Purina Urinary tract food :::knock on wood:;; and her 10mg amitriptyline every day. They say that help calm bladder too. Mama find occasional accident, but um, could be mousey mouse trying out his sprayer too, even though him fixed beary yung.

Missy Toe grouch as eber. Her eye is bad sometimes. Mama finking of taking her back to dr. while her on vacation week of 6/30 ... mama just not so sure how much this HURTS her. But she seems fine with mama, she just hate the rest of us. keke

Almos' ebery morning, mama brush Mouse (he loves it special lot) me, and Wheezel. Pirate not like brushy, so mama uses fingers to get big bunches of fur out of him. Missy will only let mama brush her in here, but then when one of us come in she spit and chase us out. Mama even try closing door, but she spit and hiss at us unner de door. She such a grouchy girl!

Mama gitted her books to day to study for the certification for pharmacy tech..but wow...dat book 8x11 and 4 inches thick! Mama not shore her brain can hold all dat...but after 3 year in pharmacy, she hoping she know at least part of it by now. She wanna takey dat test cuz it will mean a raise and if they don't go down soon, she gonna be getting the 5 of us to drag her to werk everyday in a wagon! kekeke...not weally.

Welp, not know much more. Mama gonna relax a while...

Mommy was gonna update my journal this morning (FINALLY) but then AOL took over a minute to change names, so she ended up at AOL Help instead. So I hope she will let me talk when she gets home from work today. I miss all my friends!

Farewell To Flakey...please have fun at the Bridge

Tonight out Flakey brother went to Rainbow Bridge. Mine mama cryin. He wasn't good last week or two even though they tried everything but the very expensive stuff.

Dr. Ann said it was either kidney failure, diabetes, or a tumor... so mama held him while his sedative took effect, then she kiss him goodbye and cry someone, he look at her lovingly and she left before he crossed to bridge.

I not think mama make it to the hunt tonight, but please if anybody at the bridge see Flakey, please welcome him and play wiff him and remind him how much we all loved him.

Fwiday -- Abby and Hailey update mine cuzins

Mama happie to report all is well wiff Abby and Hailey. Abby always asleep on her loveseat "throne" when her git dere. Mama always jus' a widdol afraid um just how far asweep she is if you know what I mean, cuz she is deaf and not respond to door opening.

But so far so good. Mama gived her a big bowl of shicken las' night cause it been in refrigadator all week and mama not want it to go bad. And she leaf 3 can of fancy feast out, one mixx wiff wadder cause Abby not haff a wot of teef weft (but she shore can eat dat shicken!) and two can for Hailey. Dere big big bowl of dry too.

Haily never come out when mama dere. Her pouting cause her mama kim gone. Her hass her own bedwoom and it hass a ragdoll on bed dat belowg to Hailey. Mama found her sweeping wiff de doll on yesterday and petted her for a while.

Yesserday Abby not want mama to leaf. So her petted her fer a while and den weft her on her throne to sleep more and more. She weight pracictally nuffen, but shore is alert and talks berry much.

So dat de update for dis weeky. One more weeky an a cuple more day to go. Mama go back on Saturday den Maybe Sunday. Dat way she only haff to go affer work Tue and Thurs next week, not Mon and Wed and Fri. Den she go de next Satday too....den dere mama and daddy be home on Munday.

Mama think this shore pain in the old sitter, but doing it to keep the kits from being in a kennel. Las' year abby almos' die there cuz she think she deserted. Mama told boss man she would kick him you know what if he putted her in a kennel agin. (ha. He not even fire here hahaha)

okay, I gotta wet mama hafe puter bak agin. bye fer now!

Dis best piksure of Abbygail. She very frail, but talks a LOT! some of dem quilts my mama maked. Funny fing, Kim finded Abbygail downtown cincynatti, not far from where mine mama found my angel bruddle Clifton.

Dis abbygail again. She sooooo thin/

Mine mama goed to house to feed abygail (she 22) and Haily( dunno how old she is.)

Abbygail is deaf and can't hear nutten but high pitch stuff (like keys rattling) but she heared mama! She started crying from her 'throne'... a loveseat dat is ALL hers and has blankets (some of which mine mama made) and udders Kim has. Mama change quilts sometimes cause Abby, she loose a lot of fur. Abby was HUNRY...mama only go dere ebery UDDER day when Doug and Kim is gone. FIRST mama gived her bowl of fresh white meet shicken It her very favorite and will help wiff her feeling lonely whilest her mama and daddy is gone. Her ated de whole bowl (so mama gived her nudder one (hehehe)) and then her fance feast mixed wiff cold water. Abby, she not haff many teefs left. Her always look kinda raggedy, but her mama and papa giff her baffs (she wikes dat) but mine mama will just feed and pet and kiss her while dey are gone and feed her.

Dis abigail on her quilt covered throne (weally it a lub seat) but only Abby can sleep dere, and mama can sit dere and lub her!

BUT, mama not could find Hailey! She neber go through hole house when she dere, just feeda kits and leab, but yesserday on the way home from the head doctor, mama see stripey cat 'sleeping' in the middle of the road not far from where Abby and Hailey live! OH NO! Dey not be surprised if Abby die, but Halley...NOOOOOO! Mama look EFERYWERE. No Hailey. She call and call. No Hailey! Maybe her outside. But screen door to screen in porch was CLOSED when hergitted dere, and dat never the way. It always open a bit so Halley can git in and out. Oh, mama wringing hands wile she gived Abby second bowl of shicken!

DEN, mama look round courner by door, and there fat cat Hailey. Silly thing. She wanted outside cause it be nice and sunny and 40 today but mama say NOOOOOOO WAY Hailley!

Dis Halley: She stripey FAT kit wiff two different color eyes. Her was a rescue from a flood, and wuz found on top of a building.

Anyways, all well dat end well, and now you know mine cuzins Abby and Halley!

Mine mama taking care of her boss man's kit's again, dis time for 2 1/2 week, well until Feb 10.

Her going down dere today and gonna take some piksures if she can. Abbygail is beary beary special. She 22. They not think she make it to 23, cuz of kidney failure, but mama feel very honored to be picked to care for her while dey on vacation.

They have nuther stripey cat, Hailey which is very chubby and not all dat friendly.

So mama going ebery udder day to feed dem. Please say prayer dat Abby stay well while Doug and Kim (dere mama and dada) is gone.

MY AUNTIE CHERYL IS COMING!!!! IN ABOUT FREE WEEKS. Mama will have to drive to Dayton to git her, but it only 'bout 70 mile and she hope it as easy to find as people says.
