The Buccaneers

Well, according to two guys in Providence, R.I., I am officially a Bucs Homer.  *I* didn’t think I came off that way — I tried to key on the positives the Buccaneers have been trying to do vs. the negatives.  Given the Bucs current record, perhaps they expected me to denounce my fanhood of the Bucs.  ::shrug::  I dunno.

Heck, just this past week, I was made an “Honorary Falcons Fan” no doubt due to my help with their message board issues.  I certainly can’t see any other reason why they’d do that.  But I digress…

All in all I had a good time. Yes I was nervous; first time on broadcast radio will do that to you. I was a radio operator in the Army back in the day; this was nothing like that.  I might have had a better time if they’d sent me a list of the questions they’d planned to ask … but … ahh well … the Bucs are an easy target these days. 0-3, looking at 0-4, does that to a team. 

Apparently my wife was channeling Bender this evening when she said "they can bite my shiny metal ass."  I have no idea where that came from.  Guess I'll go back to doing bodywork on my '58 T-Bird and leave this writing stuff to the professionals.

At least I can finally say I had my fifteen minutes of fame.
