Feeling Happy

Monday's Photo shoot

Have never done anything for the Monday Photo hunt, but saw it today and though I would take a hand at it.  The top one is a picture of a turtle laying his eggs at my trailer, these turtles come from the lake which is a very long distance from where my trailer is situated.  They laboriously come up the hill and deposit upwards of 75 eggs at a time and then proceed to cover the hole.  Unfortunately, almost always the next day the sknunks dig them up and eat the eggs.  I though this was a really neat picture as it provided me with a whole new respect for these turtles, it takes them so very long to reach their desired destination they take great pains to pick the exact spot they like.

The second and third pics are of my front garden which I truly love.  When I first moved into the home, there was a huge ugly pine bush there and all mud holes.  I planted most of what you see from seeds and cuttings.  My back garden which I dont have here was all xmas trees and  holes.  I have 5 gardens now and a vegetable garden as well.  I truly love gardening and hope u like the pictures.
