URGENT REQUEST
Hi Everyone, I have an Urgent request, one of my husbands child hood friends is over in iraq and has been hit. His mother is a friend of mine from a yahoo group and just sent out an email this morning. she says that he isn't on the critical list and that she thinks it is just a head injury. his Sgt. is dead. This is a wonderful family that does so much for God. She is at this moment in coffeeville helping the red cross!! They do a lot of volunteer work and missions work so Please please keep them in your prayers. Please pray for Seth G. and his family. her is the email she sent....
Hi all,
PLEASE PRAY. DS was hit. He's not on the critical list. I think some head injury. I'm in Coffeyville working the flooding for Red Cross. I'll be home by Thurs. morning. I need to stay busy. There is nothing I can do but pray. His Sgt. is dead and I think I will go to Ft. Riley on Friday. I love you all, and am feeling lost. DH isn't here, but I'm here with a mental health worker - LOLOL - ok God has a sense of humor.

a quick request
a quick request, i will try to do a full update on the list tomorrow.
Hello everyone... Just talked to my Aunt Betty in Coffeyville, Kansas. They have the east and south side of Coffeyville flooded. North going into Independence is closed. They evacuated 50 people from nursing home in Independence. History record is 27 feet. It is suppose to crest out to 29 feet in the morning. There is gas !!! hanging over Coffeyville from the Co-Op. It is making everyone sick from the smell. They are trying to repair the lines. There is no way out of there, all the roads are closed. David Skaggs has 4 feet of water in his house and he lives in Fredonia, Ks. My uncle Don is like on an island... water all around his house. James (my son), Tiffany, and her mom and dad went to Texas Friday morning. It is also flooding in Oklahoma. Thank you for any prayers. All of you are in my prayers. God Bless, Janie

a quick request
from a friend
Ended up taking YDS to the eye doctor tonight. He laid around all afternoon cause his eye was hurting more than it was yesterday so he finally let me call. There's a possible infection and he said a chunk of eye is missing (I don't understand that). We have drops to use tonight and go back in the morning with the possibility of having to see a cornia specialist. Please pray there is not big problem and what is there is not too hard to correct. He is spending the night here tonight so I can put in drops until he goes to sleep. Debora

Prayer requests (6/25/2007)
Hey all, well here is an update. I'm going to try to start doing this just once a week, of course if there is an emergency request i will post it right away, and also i do pass on requests verbally to my family so even if it doesn't get posted right away it is being prayed for, but i'm trying to manage my time better and get myself more organized. lol so i guess you could say that i could use some prayer myself in that area :) i will try to update this on either mondays or tuesdays. okay so here is the list....
James H.~ *his friend Ling as she travels home to tiawan, and then comes back this fall, she has been coming to our church as we are small group and she wanted some place she could come and not feel pushed into christianity as she is budist and wants to learn about our faith, we pray that while we try not to push our faith on her that this will show her Christs love and compassion and draw her to him.
*his friend Theresa- her family relationships and direction as she searches for Gods will, her fiance Zach that he will learn the difference between just the Christian religion and being a true Christian that seeks after Christ and shows love, and that he will be loving towards Theresa
*his job- that he will always do the best he can in all cases
*His Classes this upcoming semester
* his struggle w/ laziness and responsibility
*His cousin that is in rehab, that he would trust in Christ

prayer request (6/22/07)
Hi Janie,
I have another one for the prayer chain.....very sad story. My oldest Jennie called me this morning all upset about her best friend Julia.(she & Julia have been best friends since about the age of 9...now Julia is about 23 yrs old)
A few months ago Julia's mother died from cancer. Shortly after that Julia's husband left her. Her mother's house was left to Julia and her brother. Well, they did not know that their mother had a second mortgage on the house...and a couple weeks ago the house got foreclosed on (They had not even recieved a foreclosure notice or anything....a man just showed up telling them the house had been foreclosed on and they had to be out in 5 days) They called lawyer's and legal aide and nothing could be done....so they had to put their belongings in storage and leave. Then a few days ago Julia was admitted into a hospital in Phoenix to deliver her baby girl. (The reason she went to a Pheonix hospital instead of Tucson was because the baby had heart problems and needed special care) Well, the baby died shortly after birth.
Jennie says that Julia is so distraught that she told her she wants to die. That she lost her mother, her husband, her house, and now her baby...so she feels she has nothing left to live for. I have known this girl ever since she was 9 years old and I feel so terrible for her. She has always been such a sweet girl. Please add her to the prayer list. Hugs, Terrie
I just received a phone call from my son and a young lady that he works with at the Boeing Credit Union had a double mastectomy today because of cancer. She is only 30 and her name is Mitra.
Thank you so much for any prayers. You are all in my prayers daily.

this is about my gma janies cousin
Matrha just called and her tests came back on her brain scan , no tumors, and her blood work came back , no lukemia, they are letting her come home today, and she has to go back in a month , there may be some tumors in her stomach , but i think this is an answer to prayer, and so does she, she said to tell you thanks for putting her on the prayer chain, PRAISE GOD for MIRACLES, love you ,Betty

prayer request update (6/20/07)
recieved this from my grandma just now.
Hello everyone...
1. I just got an email from my aunt that my cousin, Martha was rushed to the Tulsa hospital because she was loosing blood. They gave her 2 pints and they found something on her brain. There will be more tests.
2. My friend Peg just had an MRI this afternoon and will be taking the test next Wed. to her doctor. She has had blisters under the skin on her scalp for almost a year now. Praying that they will find an answer and it can be taken care of.
3. I received a call yesterday that one of our church members neighbor's little boy cut his tongue down the middle and cut the blood vain. He lost a lot of blood and they said it was a good thing that the blood did not go into his lungs. He is around the age of 2. He was suppose to receive blood.
4. Barb & Johnny are having a very hard time with Johnny's health. It just keeps going up and down. They need prayer desperately also.
5. One lady I know, her daughter over dosed on drugs and she can not see her for 30 days.
6. Please pray for Daisy, she is on oxygen.
7. Nyla Slate's little grand-baby was born premature and him & the family needs prayers.
8. Martha Eblen in my husband Sunday School class is having to receive blood all the time. Her husband is not feeling well either.
9. Innes' niece has cancer and she and her family is having a very hard time.
10. Ginger really needs prayer because she is in depression.
11. June has constant pain and really needs prayer for her marriage and step son.
12. My daughter, Terry Ann is always in constant pain. Please pray for her and Mark also.
13. Charlie my little grand-daughter 5 years is complaining about feeling funny and says that she hears voices in her head. She is very nervous and cries a lot. Please pray that she has nothing wrong with her little head. She is not eating good at all. She is also complaining about the stomach ache.
14. Please pray for Jim and Roberta. Roberta is on oxygen and Jim has had quit a time with his health now. Right now they are doing better, but please pray that the Lord will keep His hand on them.
15. Veleda has a son with a mental problem. He hears voices... I can't spell what it is called. She has a very hard walk with her son being this way.
16, Bill, Ruth's husband is getting Alzheimer and it is very hard for both of them.
17. Please keep my friend Terrie and her family in your prayers. He daughter is in rehab. She also has a little 9 year old boy.
18. Remember all of your friends, relatives, and just acquaintances... there just seems to be so many hurting people in this world that needs our prayers. God knows each and every one of them by name.

additional prayer request (6/20/07)
this is an email i just recieved.
I just got a prayer request to pass on about a man in Iraq whose vehicle was hit by an explosive device and there are casualties. I don't know the people, but remember when we were praying so hard for Kim's son, so have an idea what they are going through. I asked if he was from Ft. Riley, but the secretary didn't know. They don't know if he is OK or not.
Sometimes I think they get too much information, too fast now. Then they have to worry if their loved one is OK or not.
His name is Jake and hers is Stephanie. I know they would appreciate any prayers they can get.

Well my husband and I and two of our friends have started our own church and have been meeting in our apartment on Sundays and Wednesday and I felt led to put our prayer requests in an online journal so that others who are prayer warriors could pray w/ us and also so others could let us know their requests....We will also be updating this at least once a week and highlighting answered prayers b/c it is important to show that God does answer prayers, he may not always give you the answer you want but he does know what is best for you!!! If you have a prayer request, you can either leave it in a comment or if you prefer that others not know names etc, you can email it to me and i will post it as an anonymous or unspoken request.

Heather -this was a neighbor that was having problems, i have not heard from her in a long while but think we should still be praying for her
Shanaza- this is a friend of mine that is pregnant and has had some complications-currently her amnionic fluid is lower than it should be and the baby is laying side ways instead of up and down.

Belinda- her sister in law is in the final stages of ovarian cancer probably on a few
more days. It is really sad when the family is stressed what insurance
will do.
