ACCEPTANCE
Brothers, and Sisters; been talking to a friend of mine in Sweden, he is not a Christian, but we have been talking of different subjects from the Bible. I was trying to explain to him, that just because we can not see GOD, does not mean that HE is not there. Told him, that is where faith comes in. He was telling me this morning, that right now, this time in his life, GOD seems to be "light-years" away. He did tell me that he has so much doubt in his life right now, it is hard for him to believe in anything. Have been talking to him for almost a year now, and just the impression I get, he is really a good person. BUT, I also know, no matter how good a person is, if they do not accept JESUS CHRIST, as their SAVIOR, they have no hope. In HIS name, and only HIS name, can the world be saved. If you can quote John 3:16, add verse 17 along with it, and GOD tells us the ONLY way to "salvation...............MAY GOD BLESS........

WHETHER GOOD, OR BAD..........
Brothers, and Sister; Bad things happen along with the good. Was at church this past Wednesday night, when we stepped outside for a bit of fellowship, one of our church dogs(Pastor had been feeding him) was laying there. The Pastor went over and petted him, will I like dogs, so I did to, BUT, guess the dog only is friendly to some, I reached down to pet it, and came back with a hand full of teeth. He bit me on the hand, the arm, and the right side of my chest. blead all over the place. Went to the emergency room to get checked out, doctor cleaned it up, put in 19 stitches, put a bandage on, got a tetnus shot, I guess by law, the doctor said they have to report all animal bites, so they called animal control to pick up the dog, and hold it for 10 days to check for rabbies. Hand is a bit sore, and swollen, but really doesn`t hurt that much. But got to thinking, yes, hated that I got bitten, but better me then some little kid, now that we know the dogs reactions.........but yet, I will live............MAY GOD BLESS............

Brothers, and Sisters; Did you know that at the tail end of summer, when there is no breeze, and the days are sunny and hot, that is what they call the "Dog Days of Summer." And we have been having our share the past week or so, but, I also know that the sun is on its journey back south, so our cool weather shall be here soon enough. Don`t know about you, but it is truely great to be alive. "This is the day the LORD has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it" AMEN, and AMEN...........GOD BLESS........

Brothers, and Sisters; it has been awhile sense I have written, but an issue came up at church on Sunday the 16th that I wish to comment about. A Lady was there for services, and before we were dismissed, the Pastor ask her to introduce herself. She stood, said she was a Pastor living in North Beach, and was teaching children. I see nothing wrong with a women teaching other wemon, and children, but she started preaching before the congragation, that is where my problem came in at. Paul says in 1 Tim. 2:11-13, wemon are NOT to have authority over men, therefore, I can not, and will not accept a women as a Pastor. I was going to walk out, but did not want to disrupt the service, BUT, if it happens again, I will walk out. I certainly do not question the authority of my Pastor, and I do not know his feeling on this matter, but, does not the Bible teach that a Bishop, Pastor, and Deacon, must be the husband of one women, so please tell me how they get around this issue??????????? MAY GOD BLESS.........

Brothers and Sisters; Just sitting here, got to thinking about the kind of life we lead, living in this world. As we have to live in this world, does that mean we have to be part of it? We live, we work, we shop, the "world" sees us each day, but by watching us, what do they precieve of us? As Christians, we MUST show the world what a Christian is, and how they live. The world MUST see JESUS CHRIST through us. What does this mean? be kind to each othe, courteous, pleasant, smile, hold a door open, let someone go ahead of you. Let your light so shine that others can see our LORD in you. We MUST do what we can for the time we have left, when the LORD says enough is enough, that is the day ALL HELL IS GOING TO BREAK LOOSE. To those who has given themselves to the LORD, paradise........but sadly to say, those who have rejected JESUS in this life, a living hell. But as with all that JESUS does, VICTORY IN ALL THINGS...............MAY GOD BLESS........

Brothers, and Sisters; I have been very lax on writting in my journal, but for me, being retired, most of my days are but a repeat of the one before. I do keep a written journal each day, and have found even in that, some days look much like the others. Not really to much to report, been really nice out this way, was pretty quiet, till they startred doing grader work in the lot just south of here. Have not heard anything what they might be planning, but it is a nice piece pf property. Will just have to wait and see what developes. Town day tomorrow, just like to get out and run around for awhile, but have found also, glad to get back home, sore knees. ...............TAKE CARE, AND MAY GOD BLESS........

Brothers, and Sisters; have made the change over from snial dial-up, to high speed dial-up, and have found in some aspects it is faster, but in others, not quite what I was hoping for. But again, I am probably lucky to have this thing at all. The cost was more then I had hoped, and most likely should not have done it, but being me, I most generally leap before I look. But have found one thing, which I don`t quite understand. I cancelled my AOL server, and transfered to AT&T high speed dial-up, but whats odd, I still sign on with AOL, and if I want to go to AT&T Yahoo, I can. Not being a computer whiz, don`t know quite whats going on, and why............BUT IN ALL THINGS, "TO GOD BE THE GLORY"...............MAY GOD BLESS..............

Feeling Hopeful
A N E W D A Y - - - A N E W S T A R T...................
Brothers, and Sisters; I wish to thank those who made comments of these writings, BUT, I MUST make a confession also, I have plagarized 99.9% of all that I have written. I do not make an apology in doing this, for it is my feeling that if an article (no matter who wrote it) can benif anoter person, then by all means, it should go out. I make no excuses for what I have done, if another can gain from these articles, then I have accomplished what I set out to do. My education has held me back, therefore, I must depend on that of others to futher GOD`S WORD. I am closing down this site for now, as I am in the process of switching from AOL dialup, to AT&T high speed. Do now quite understand what I will loose yet in the transfer, but will only have to see, and hope, and pray for the best. I WISH TO THANK ALL.......................MAY GOD BLESS.....................

Feeling Ecstatic
R E S U R R E C T I O N S T O R Y...............PT. 9.....
Brothers, and Sisters; Dr. William Lane Craig explains; "When you understand the role of women in first-century Jewish society, what is really extraordinary is that this empty tomb story should feature women as the discoverers of the empty tomb in the first place. Women were on a very low rung of the social ladder in the first-century Palestine. There are old rabbinical sayings that said, `Let the women of Law be burned rather then delicered to women` and blessed is he whose children are male, but woe to him whose children are female`. Women`s testimony was regarded as so worthless that they were not even allowed to serve as legal witnesses in a Jewish court of Law. In light of this, it is absolutely remarkable that the chief witnesses to the empty tomb are these women........Any later legendary accounts would have certainly portrayed male disciples as discovering the empty tomb--Peter or John, for example. The fact that women are the first witnesses to the empty tomb is most plausibly explained by the reality that--like it or not--they were the discoverers of the empty tomb. This shows that the Gospel writers faithfully recorded what happend even if it was embarrasing. This bespeaks the historicity of the tradition rather than its legendary status." Taken from Dr. Craig`s book, "The Case For CHRIST."(1998, p.293). ..........This article concludes wit a summery, but each of us will have to deside for ourselves what we believe in. .................MAY GOD BLESS................

T H E R E S U R R E C T I O N S T O R Y .......PT. 8....
Brothers, and Sisters; THE FIFTH LINE of EVIDENCE for CHRIST`S RESURRECTION; Finally, a fifth line of evidence concerns a peculiarity of the eyewitness testimony. In all of the major resurrection narratives, women are credited as the first and primary eyewitnesses. This would be an odd invention since in both the ancient Jewish and Romen cultures women were severly disesteemed. Their testimony was regarded as insubstantial and dismissible. Given this fact, it is highly unlikely that any perretrator of a hoax in the first centruy Judea would elect a women to be their primary witness. Of all the male disciples who claimed to see JESUS resurrection, if they all were lying and the resurrection was a scam, why did they pick the most ill-perceived, distrusted witness they could find? .......................will complete this subject tomorrow......................MAY GOD BLESS...............
