A Radical Departure for Me.

I admit that I have been led astray but the silver tongued, smooth lies of politicians in years past. My problem is that I believe the sincerity of humans who come across as Biblical Christians. Some people are so slick that they make me feel like an ignorant country bumpkin...lol.

The bible says, 'do not put your trust in nobles or the sons of earthling man...'. And sometimes it comes down to: voting for the "lesser of two evils" , unfortunately.

I am about to strike out on a very controversial, and perhaps dangerous 'new path'. I began to see 'chinks in Mr. Bush's (GWB) armor" when I finally figured out that he doesn't want to defend our Southern border against the onslaught of illegal aliens! See, US Constitution: Article 4, Section 4: "The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence. "

For the past 6 years I was in denial / had my head in the sand, and even voted for Mr. Bush twice! I figured (thought) that he was pro-Life, pro-gun and leaned toward "one man and one woman marriage" .. and I thought he was pro- military / pro-Veteran. But he has not followed the US Constitution, and many wise biblical Christian men feel that he is down right DANGEROUS by putting us out on a limb and taking on too many wars at the same time, like the possibility of Iran and Syria, etc. We just don't HAVE that many boots on the ground, and our National Guard and Reserve are doing 3-4 tours already!! He is not alone to blame as the 'far Lefty-Dems" have always sought to cut the heart and soul out of our once proud and capable military. And we cannot draft and expect to traingood soldiers over night! I served in Vietnam for two tours of duty: '68-'70, Army Aviation, helicopters.

Even a real strong, Olympic swimmer knows that he will pass the "point of no return" at some point when trying to swim across Lake Michigan even in the Summer time, and drown. I don't have the answers for running this once great nation--America, but I AM a serious bible student and servant of Jesus Christ. Although I cannot read Mr. Bush's mind-- I can clearly see his unsound actions and dangerous blunders (finally). Some intelligent people think that he could still get us into a BIG war in his remaining 2 years that could force the price of gas thru the roof and that would "domino" the economy into such a deep recession (or worse) where we would surely lose our 1st rate economic and military power, especially if all our creditors called in our debts !

And so many of us are so fat, lazy and wandered too far from the truth of God's Word, the bible. Many of us forgot how our fore fathers fought for our freedoms, security, respect, higher standard of living-- and it would be such a shock to have the economy ruined forever, bankrupt and in disgrace, and then threatened and surrounded by our enemies. Once they get nukes-- it's all over but the crying. And guess what?? We are all alone with no allies!

And don't depend on God to protect us anymore after we butchered (collectively speaking) hundreds of thousands of innocent babies and thrown morality out the window so that "anything goes" now days. We have taken God out of schools and courts and exchanged Him for the gods of materialism, corporate greed, and the practice of immorality and perversions.

I am not a 'doomsday' oracle-- just a very serious historian and Bible student/ evangelist.

Ponder on this, and pray the President and Congress 'get their acts together.'

I can only pray the next president will put God back in the front lines with us...I also am hoping that the next president will see that the middle east has been fighting their holy war forever and never will it end...it is a never ending problem one we can not change. I also hope the next president will focus on Iran, North Korea and the problems upcoming with Rusia if we don't get our priorities straight...and how we find Ben Ladin and take care of what should have been taken care of while we were busy having a war for oil! We need to do some HEAVY praying for our President (who definitely HAS taken a wrong turn where the illegal aliens are concerned) and Congress. We have some people there who have hardened their hearts against God and we need to turn the tide! We need to lift up our hands and worship the Lord--He is our only hope! Amen.
