Hearing I love Lucy on TV
Hockey and My New puppy

Hello It has been quite some time.
Anyway I recently got a new puppy, her name is Teyla She is quite a handful. She is a Siberian Husky and she loves to run around all day causing trouble. I love her anyway. She is an awful lot like a cat. She loves to bat around tennis balls with her paws and chase flies. My little nephew Wyatt even calls her "Kitty".
We recently lost my other dog Maximus to cancer. This left his mother Briendle quite sad. When we brought Teyla home she seemed to perk right up and they have been playing ever since.
Here they are sharing a banana.

Teyla is also a talker. When you do something she dose not like she will let you know about it with little bark-like howls. When briendle steals her doggie treats she will stand there looking from her to me doing her little howl-barks as if to say " Mommy she stole my treat!" It is also quite funny when I am trying to train her to do something like sit/stay. She will sit very well and she will stay for a few seconds but then she will get frustrated and do her little bark-howl like she is saying " Hey how long do I have to sit here for, I want to go play." Or she will screech like I am killing her, You never know which she will do. She is going to be starting her very first puppy class tomorrow, I am a bit worried that every one in the class will think I am torchering my puppy to get her to sit or stay. I read online that Huskies are notorious for sounding like you are hurting them when you are trying to get them to do something they don't want to do.
Well Hockey season has come to a close. I am quite sad that there are no more games to go to. The good news is that my folks and I got to go to a season ticket holders autograph party where we got to get the autographs of all of the players. I even got my picture taken with my favorite ones. here they are.

This is Me with my absolute favorite player Dan Carcillo he is the big fighter on the team he almost never looses. He is also a great player.

This is me with Niko Kapanen. He is such a sweet heart and great player.

Here is a picture of my mom with Peter Muller.
The next pictures are just some fun shots of us.

Here is me in the Penalty Box.

And this is my mom and I having a "fight" in the penalty box. Hehehe.
Anywho I hope you all enjoyed the pictures and stories. hopefully I will right again soon
Katie.

My dream Hockey Game
Hello everyone, I know that I have not written in some time but that is because I have not had anything to write about untill now!! As some of you may know my folks bought me Season Tickets to see my Favortie Sport Hockey so that we could all go as a family!!! I have missed the past few games because I have been very depressed and sleepy dew to my new meds. Well yesterday I was felling better except for some bad cramps, and was looking forward to going to the game. The evil cramps contenued to plege me up untill the very last moment before we were suposed to leave so I slapped on my jursy baring the name of my favorite Hockey player Mike Ricci, threw on a Coyoties Ball cap and hopped into the car with my Dad and off we went!!
The first period was uneventfull we seemed to some how hold our own against the Detriot Red Wings. Sometime around the end of the period the anouncer guy came on over the Arenia and stated "Durring the frist period break Mike Ricci will be signing autographs behind section 106". I just about lost it! I have been wanting to get my jursy signed by him since I had got it at the begining of the season and dew to an unfourtunate accedent Mike Ricci had been injured and had not been playing. They had put him on the injured resurve list for the rest of the season and I figured I had lost my chance to have him sign it. The Family behind us knew how much I liked him and began to say "You better get down there." and " Maybe if you are lucky he will give you a kiss" I sat there for a few seconds then got up and ran up the stairs to the upper concorse down the esclator and alog the lower concorse to section 106 where a line had begun to form. I began to chat with some ladies inline behind me when I saw him being escorted by some Suits ( Security Gaurds) He smiled at me as he walked by then took a seat behind a table. After a few moments my dad showed up and asked me if I wanted him to take a picture of mye with Mike Ricci and I said you can ask him. Finally it was my turn. "How ya doing" he asked then smiled. " Good" I said I was about to tell him how much I missed seeing him on the ice when my dad asked if I could have my picture taken with him. He said of coures. So I when behind the table with him and he signed my jursy then posed for the picture. I said thank you then my dad and I left. I was soooo happy to havehad a chance to met my favorite player!! As for the rest of the game we did not win and the only fight of the game happend between an old lady and an oboxious RedWings fan. But as for me this game was my dream hockey game and I did not mind that we lost.
Anywho that is it for now,
Peace ~ Katie

Weird Wild Stuff!!!
Ok all I finally have something worth writing about. Lately we have been having some weird weather. It has been in the 40's and 30's and we have been having lots of rain. This morning when I woke up I decided to go for a drive along the Apache Trail to see if there was any snow that was atop the Superstition Mountains. I began to drive along main street towards the Mountain and could only see a bunch of low clouds. The closer I got I thought that I was seeing bits of snow on the mountain between the clouds. Finally I was as close to the mountain that I could get with out having to pay the state park fee, and I saw it, snow on the mountain!! I took a few shots and decide to move on down towards Tortilla Flats. As I was driving down the high way I began seeing cars that had snow men built on top of their hoods and snow balls on the antennas, I knew that I was getting close!! Then I began to see little trails of snow on the side of the road that began to get larger and larger. Then it was all over the place, I had struck white gold!!! I found a safe place to pull over then hopped out of my car and began to take pics. When I was done I built my self a tiny snow man, took a pic of him, then hopped back in my car and began to drive home. As I entered the city again I began to see little white poofs floating in the air then they would hit my windshield and splattered into a kind of slush. I thought to myself this can't be snow can it. Well I was right it was not snow It was slush. I grabbed my cell phone at a red light and called home and told everyone, " It's Slushing!" When I pulled into the drive way I got out of the car and stood in the driveway and began to giggle and jump up and down saying " its Slushing, its slushing" Then the slush turned into ice, which made me more excited. I went inside and announced to the house that there where little ice balls coming down and the ran out back and stood on the deck where I gathered up the ice put it in a plastic container and ran it inside and put it in to the freezer. Well folks that is Some weird wild stuff if I do say so my self!!
That's it for now,
Peace,
Katie

A new Addition!!
Hello all, I am proud to announce a new addition to my guitar family, a bouncing baby Fender! Yes, yes I have yet another guitar, but this time it is an acoustic guitar. I have already got an acoustic guitar but well, it falls short compared to this one. My old guitar I have had since I was about 10 or so it was my very first guitar and I have no intentions of getting rid of it, no matter what. My new Baby, which I have named Eden, has a solid Spruce top, Rosewood Fretbord and saddle, Abalone fret marker inlays and great tone to boot!! It is made by Fender and is a great deal for the dollar. I bought it as a Christmas gift to my self with the money that my folks gave to me well, for Christmas. No, I have still yet to acquire the funds to purchase my dream guitar " The Irish Falcon", but one day my friends, it will be mine.
On to other things............

The other day when I was driving my Mom home from the store I got pulled over for what I thought was speeding. When the officer aked me if I knew What he had pulled me over for I said, ' No'. He then Said ' Think back to the intersection.' That really got me thinking about what I could have done. I stoped at the stoplight and I used my turn signle beforeI turned. And then it hit me, ' was it a no turn on red?' I asked, becaues I did not see a sign. ' You got it.' He said and then took my licence and went back to his cruser. At that point my Mom and I began to converse about the situation and how neither of us had seen the NO TURN ON RED sign. She even told me that if she had been driving it would have been her that had been puled over. After what seemed to be hours the officer came back with my prize and told me to have a good night. Later that night ( about 4am ) I had got to thinking about how farmiliar the officer looked to me and went and got out some pics of when I was in my Law Enforcement class. Sure enough as I looked through the pics, there he was, standing next to me with his Chocolate Lab K-9 smiling. ( I have included the pic in the album above for all to see, lol.) I began to laugh and took the pic across the hall into my Moms room. ' Look farmiliar?' I asked her. She looked at the pic closely then began to laugh. ' Thats the Guy who pulled us over. How Funny.' I knew he looked familiar. To bad I had not remimbered that in the car maybe I could have gotten out of the ticket. Oh yeah you all maybe wondering how I am going to pay for it. Well my dad was very nice and agreed to pay it in exchange for me doing stuff around the house like dog doo duty, moeing the lawn, vaccuming up dog hair and taking care of his birds. I am truly lucky to have such a nice dad. Anywho, that is it for now, Peace, Katie

Hearing New Years Day by U2
Happy New Year!!

Hello all, and happy New Years Eve!!! I bet about now thousends of people are getting drunker than skunks to help ring in the new year. I never understood that. Who would want to wake up on the first day of the new year with a wicked awful head ache feeling like warmed over crap, perhaps in a strange palce with a strange person who has who knows what. Am I missing somthing? That does not sound like a good way to start out the new year to me at all. As for me, I plan to spend the night fully aware of my surrounding watching all of the excitement on T.V. A few years back I worked security at the Tempe Festa Bowl Block Party. Which was made up of Three and a half to four square miles of down town Tempe plus a gi-normous man made beach park. And yours truely was put in charge up the beach park and a hundred and fifty scared newbees. In this park was a half doesn or so stages and one main stage where the drunks could gather and wreak havock. If any of you out there know anything about Tempe it would probibly be that it is full of partying college students. Needless to say I do not miss working those events where over a hunderd thousend people or so would attend. Humm I am not quite sure where I was going with this story, oh well. I guess I am just glad to sit home and play a bit of Nintendo Wii with my Mom and Dad, no matter how nerdy it may sound or be.

I am not too sure what the new year might bring, all I know is that it can't possibly be worse that last year. ( I thought I would let you all know that right now I am hearing some yahoos outside shooting stuff. And now I am hearing the sound of a police helecopter hovering somewhere overhead. Oh the joys of new years celebrations!) Anywho, I am not planing on makeing any elaborate resolution this year. I was thinking about doing the ever popular ' I will lose weight' thingy but insted I have simply chosen to try and get stable so that I can continue with the uglier side of my theripy, EMDR. I have not been doing the EMDR because afterward I would be soo pissed of at everyone and everything and by the time I had calmed down it was time for another session. So wish me luck all!!! I hope that you all have a great new year, Peace,
Katie
Peace, Katie

Feeling Quiet
long time no see
Hello all,
It has been some time since my last entry. I have not been in the best of moods and have just not wanted to be around anyone at all. I am a bit discouraged because I was turned down for some medication that I was prescribed, and then to make matters more frustrating I was turned down for Social Security as well. I am not one to like the Holiday season anymore. There are too many painful memories that come about this time of year. I try my best to grin and bare it but with the signs of the Holidays all around me and the echo of Christmas music in my ears, it is quite hard. I have been spending most of my time alone in my room watching the first couple seasons of M.A.S.H and trying to come up with new ways of ignoring the flashbacks of my past while everyone in the house is asleep. It is hard to be in a house filled with people and still feel so alone. I know this entry is not one of my more bright ones, but right now, I myself am not very bright.
Enough about that stuff and on to more chipper things. A few days ago my mom and I went on a little adventure in search of the new Nintendo Wii gaming system. We began at the local Walmart at around 8:30 pm, and then widened our search expanding to the next closest Walmart and then on to Target and Best Buy, none of which had any. At around 10:30pm we returned to the first Walmart where we were informed that a shipment of the little beauties where scheduled to arrive in the morning, and if we wanted one we were to wait in line. Already people were in line ahead of us, bundled up in blankets, scarves and hats. Some people had brought along there laptops, Ipods and other such entertaining devices in which to pass the time. My mom sent me home to gather supplies for the long night ahead while she stuck claim to our place in line. I returned with a bag full of the necessities which included, A mini DVD Player all of the Harry Potter movies, the Pirates of the Carribian movies, Elf, some blankets and water. I must say that we were the hit of the line. We hooked up some speakers to the DVD player and blasted the sounds of Pirates through out the parking lot. People began to gather all around us to watch the movie. At around 2:30am or so, two Walmart employees ventured out of the warm store to notify us that we were to receive numbered tickets at that moment, which we could later redeem for our Nintendo Wii at 8:00 am. We gladly took the tickets and returned home.
At 8am we stood in yet another line that had grew by twice its size from the previous night, the store having only 29 Gaming Systems, I knew that many people would be leaving empty handed. I laughed a little inside knowing that I had a ticket that guaranteed my mom and I one of these prized treasures. You may be wondering what the point of this story is, well the Nintendo Wii is a gift for my Dad for Christmas, Funny the things people do for the ones they love.
That is all for now,
Peace,
Katie

Family night
Hi all,
Last night my Parents and I met up with Kara and her husband Seth and of course Wyatt. We all drove down to the arena for the Hockey game!!! It was Wyatts first official game and he was excited. He said " We go see the Coylotes Hockey guys papa." He is soooo cute. He sat next to my dad for most of the game Imitating him as he chanted for our team to " Go, go, go." He will be a good fan some day. At one point I think the little guy got confused and forgot that he was at a hockey game and thought he was at a Monster Truck Rally because he began Chanting " Go big red trucks and big cars. BIG TRUCK!" he he he. Or maybe pertending that they were trucks made the time go by faster, I don't know. At the end of the game we all went out to the parking lot and had to say good bye to papa car. Of coures Wyatt climbed in to the drivers seat and pretended to drive. "Wyatt driving, but I stuck." he said, as he pushed buttons. Last night was great and even though we did not win the game I won a bunch of fun Memories!!! Untill next time,
Peace,
Katie.
