A new Addition!!

  Hello all,
I am proud to announce a new addition to my guitar family, a bouncing baby Fender!  Yes, yes I have yet another guitar, but this time it is an acoustic guitar. I have already got an acoustic guitar but well, it falls short compared to this one.  My old guitar I have had since I was about 10 or so it was my very first guitar and I have no intentions of getting rid of it, no matter what.  My new Baby, which I have named Eden, has a solid Spruce top, Rosewood Fretbord and saddle, Abalone fret marker inlays and great tone to boot!!  It is made by Fender and is a great deal for the dollar. I bought it as a Christmas gift to my self with the money that my folks gave to me well, for Christmas.  No, I have still yet to acquire the funds to purchase my dream guitar " The Irish Falcon", but one day my friends, it will be mine.

                    On to other things............

The other day when I was driving my Mom home from the store I got pulled over for what I thought was speeding. When the officer aked me if I knew What he had pulled me over for I said, ' No'.  He then Said ' Think back to the intersection.' That really got me thinking about what I could have done. I stoped at the stoplight and I used my turn signle beforeI turned. And then it hit me, ' was it a no turn on red?' I asked, becaues I did not see a sign.  ' You got it.' He said and then took my licence and went back to his cruser.  At that point my Mom and I began to converse about the situation and how neither of us had seen the NO TURN ON RED sign. She even told me that if she had been driving it would have been her that had been puled over.
After what seemed to be hours the officer came back with my prize and told me to have a good night. Later that night ( about 4am ) I had got to thinking about how farmiliar the officer looked to me and went and got out some pics of when I was in my Law Enforcement class. Sure enough as I looked through the pics, there he was, standing next to me with his Chocolate Lab K-9 smiling. ( I have included the pic in the album above for all to see, lol.) I began to laugh and took the pic across the hall into my Moms room. ' Look farmiliar?' I asked her. She looked at the pic closely then began to laugh. ' Thats the Guy who pulled us over. How Funny.' I knew he looked familiar. To bad I had not remimbered that in the car maybe I could have gotten out of the ticket.
Oh yeah you all maybe wondering how I am going to pay for it. Well my dad was very nice and agreed to pay it in exchange for me doing stuff around the house like dog doo duty, moeing the lawn, vaccuming up dog hair and taking care of his birds. I am truly lucky to have such a nice dad.
Anywho, that is it for now,
Peace,
Katie

Congrats on your new "baby"!  You crack me up!  So sorry about the ticket.  I hated those "No Turn On Red" intersections.  Drove me crazy being from WA and not having ever seen one before!  I am sure I missed a bunch and was just never observed doing so...how much is a ticket for that, anyway?  That is pretty nice of your Dad to help you out like that, although, after you do some poop-scooping, you may not see it as so nice!  LOL!  Dirty, yucky job!  I am the pooper picker upper for 4 dogs in my house.  Good thing they are little ones!  Jae
