Hockey and My New puppy

Hello It has been quite some time.

Anyway I recently got a new puppy, her name is Teyla She is quite a handful. She is a Siberian Husky and she loves to run around all day causing trouble. I love her anyway. She is an awful lot like a cat. She loves to bat around tennis balls with her paws and chase flies. My little nephew Wyatt even calls her "Kitty".

We recently lost my other dog Maximus to cancer. This left his mother Briendle quite sad. When we brought Teyla home she seemed to perk right up and they have been playing ever since

Here they are sharing a banana.

Teyla is also a talker. When you do something she dose not like she will let you know about it  with little bark-like howls. When briendle steals her doggie treats she will stand there looking from her to me doing her little howl-barks as if to say  " Mommy she stole my treat!" It is also quite funny when I am trying to train her to do something like sit/stay. She will sit very well and she will stay for a few seconds but then she will get frustrated and do her little bark-howl like she is saying " Hey how long do I have to sit here for, I want to go play." Or she will screech like I am killing her, You never know which she will do. She is going to be starting her very first puppy class tomorrow, I am a bit worried that every one in the class will think I am torchering my puppy to get her to sit or stay. I read online that Huskies are notorious for sounding like you are hurting them when you are trying to get them to do something they don't want to do.

Well Hockey season has come to a close. I am quite sad that there are no more games to go to.  The good news is that my folks and I got to go to a season ticket holders autograph party where we got to get the autographs of all of the players. I even got my picture taken with my favorite ones. here they are.

This is Me with my absolute favorite player Dan Carcillo he is the big fighter on the team he almost never looses. He is also a great player.

This is me with Niko Kapanen. He is such a sweet heart and great player.

Here is a picture of my mom with Peter Muller.

The next pictures are just some fun shots of us.

Here is me in the Penalty Box.

And this is my mom and I having a "fight" in the penalty box. Hehehe.

Anywho I hope you all enjoyed the pictures and stories. hopefully I will right again soon

Katie.

It ihas been WAY too long, girlie!
The pictures are great; I especially love the one of the "fight"!!!  And I LOVE your new baby!!!  Keep the pic's coming of her puppyhood, please!  My dogs will kill each other over a banana.  And a dental chew.  And they are little dogs.  I can't imagine what it would be like if your two fought the way mine do.  Ouch!
    I have missed you...

Katie, there are great.  You need to keep doing this journal.  I love the hockey pictures and the way you describe your interactions with your dog,
