two years
Good Morning Campers!
Can you believe tomorrow marks the two year anniversary of BritsBlog?? It has been a roller coaster 2 years..I have to say though that with the exception of a few trolls and the misinterpretation of a couple of my entries... life has been good to me in J Land...I have found a great place to spend a few hours doing what I like to do best ..reading...and getting to peek into the lives of others... I have made many many friends and although I have yet to meet any of you in person I feel as if we have been friends for years... I am glad I stuck it out when the going got tough and here's to another 10 years! I would like to raise a glass to our j Land angels who have passed on too...you are NOT forgotten...

So anyway..guess who is working every day this week? yep....moi...our receptionist is out with Pneumonia and our oh-so-bright office manager <insert sarcasm> let 2 girls be out on vacation at the same time... so it is up to me and the other part timer to rally round...I really don't mind because the extra dollars will come in handy for my trip...
The beach was gorgeous on Friday...the dinner party was fun..probably something to do with the margaritas...LOL..Saturday I went to a Princess House Party (they sell housewares..mostly crystal) I bought a bud Vase for my roses... Sunday the weather turned chilly again....

Can you believe those temps for Florida in the spring time? if this keeps up I will need a tanning bed session before I go home...;-)
Tomorrow we have the pre-deployment meeting on base..not the most cheerful thing in the world..that's where everyone comes together to pull resources and make sure everyone's wills are updated..financial documents etc are in order..that everyone has all the phone numbers they may need...stuff like that... we get briefed on who is going where..protocol for phone calls etc...what it basically means is the deployment is getting close...6 weeks from today to be precise...
Okay that's all from me..I need to get showered and head off to the clinic...have a great week....

CONGRATS on your 2 year blog and for staying despite the occasional hiccups. All i can say is that if people don't like well putting it very bluntly 'Sod 'em' !!!!
The pre deployment meeting sounds scary....... but i guess its an essential. I hope everything goes well

Hi !!!!!!!! I wanted to congratulate you on your 2 year anniversary of your blog that's wonderful. I am always enjoying coming to visit you and your blog never mind the trolls.
You might want to know that you will be able to meet my family in my newest entry. Tonight we went to the Hard Rock Cafe to celebrate my birthday which was nice. We all had a great time and I have to say that I enjoyed myself completely. Do take care and have a wonderful week. -
