Rattling poison
the polished apostle
wrings honeycomb to
coat beggars in
first class rags.
Wrapping adulation over
played lies this
sycophant of sotted
temples offers smokey
mantras to crimson
altars in the
leggy synogogue.
Upturned palms tremble
cupped for alms he
tosses fool's gold
bearing Caesar's visage.

Idolizing Delilah
even as mascara seeps
from blind apologies
she tipples to
steel graceless hands
execrating alibis.
Scriptural sex slides
earthward, at the
belly of the pole she
smells Gehenna burning.
Images of neon
gods flash naked
complicated pornography
spewing baptism they
coax them arm in arm
to cruise cold Babylon.

    Hi!
