UnCut Video - View Count Error

As many of you have already noticed, the UnCut video beta platform experienced a bug with our ‘Views’ count.  We wanted to extend our apologies and ensure everyone that the problem has been fixed and will no longer occur.  With that said, please be aware that you will now observe significantly different ‘Views’ on some video assets that previously reported over inflated numbers of views.

Even though UnCut is still in beta and we are working out some kinks, it is our goal to provide you with the highest quality product.  To make it up to our users, we wanted to offer a new feature.  Please check out our new “Leader Board” feature.  The leader board is a ranking of the Top Ten videos on UnCut Video .  Below are some example Leader Boards:

Top Ten Most Popular Today:              http://uncutvideo.aol.com/videos/day/popular

Top Ten Most Popular This Week:       http://uncutvideo.aol.com/videos/week/popular

There is another problem we (some viewers) have also noticed this week.  The "ratings" count is innacurate.  I have personally rated a couple of videos as "5-star", and they still show up as a "1-star" (only two or three ratings logged on, at least one as a "5" does not average out to a "1").  Conversely, I rated a video a "3" and only one other person rated that video, a "5"; it's still rated a "5".  One "3" rating and one "5" rating = "2.5".  All of that seriously skewers how others might perceive the video before it's even watched.
