Who has the most options for uploading videos?

Hi,

Welcome to the first entry on the UnCut Video Product Insider Blog.  Here, I'll be providing product tips on new, cool features and asking you what else you'd like us to work on.  I have lots of things to share with you, but I'll start with one of the features that really stands out from other video web sites.

Sure, all video sharing web sites let you upload video clips, but how many of them also allow you to also upload your video straight from your camcorder or web cam?  Not many.  UnCut Video does.   Click the image below to enlarge it.

Why is this useful?  Because it can reduce the time it takes to share your videos.  Most other sites require you to digitize or transcode your videos first on your computer, then upload it.  After it’s uploaded, the other services must then transcode it again before it becomes available for viewing, sometimes with an hour or two of delay.  UnCut Video does all of this simultaneously and in real-time.  So you can see your videos instantaneously!

Like the way you can upload so easily?  Is there anything else we can do to make it better for you?  Let us know.  We want to help you get the most out of your product.
More topics will follow soon, so come back here often.

PS: If you haven’t already, click on the “Alert Me as Entries are Posted” link at the top right of this page to be automatically notified of new posts on this blog.  You can also bookmark this page, or take advantage of its RSS Feed capability.

‘Til next time…
Tae

I am fairly new to the world of "UnCut Video".  My biggest problem is that I cannot view the offerings without going to "Internet Explorer" first using AOL as my Home Page.  I am unable to check it out by going to AOL direct.

I do enjoy your pet videos very much and would love to see more, especially ones on cats.

While I am at it though, I would like to say that I have found too much garbage offered; but of course, I can refuse to watch it.  It may be that I am just being too old fashioned?

    Hi onenotpicked,

Welcome to UnCut Video!  It's mostly user-based content but occasionally I've seen other things in there too.  Try submitting one of your videos and see how many views it gets in a few days, especially if it's interesting.  :-)

hi ,i'm new to uncut  i'm confused on the content of the postings. is the forum free advertising for realestate, & summer camps , car sales etc., or is the forum truly user based content?          i like the ease of uploading but i'm afraid the free advertising will ruin the idea.

    Hi media1011,

Unfortunately, you cannot delete someone else's comment about a video because it's a public forum for everyone to express their opinions.  If you want though, you CAN delete your video and upload it again, thereby removing the comment that way.  Maybe we'll be able to address this differently in the future.

    Thanks and enjoy the videos!
    Tae
