Hi all and happy Friday!  I want to congratulate Dan and Pam for winning the "Weekly Sentence with Val" this week!  Again, the judges handed out two awards.  It is hard to judge funny/clever against poetic/clever.  There have been so many wonderful sentences submitted that it has been so hard for them to choose!!  We wish we could hand out many more awards as they are deserving!!  Keep trying!!  Here are the winning sentences this week...

     Pam from Almost 40!

Congratulations, again!

I am listing the sentences submitted below.  I thought it would be neat to see them all.  I didn't last week because there were just too many.  Thanks for playing everyone!  I will be posting six new letters Saturday morning!  Hope you can come back and play!  Have a good weekend everyone!

The submissions put some creative thoughts in my mind to jolt my otherwise dull day.   Actually things have improved since the steroid epidural on Feb. 14.   The one on Jan. 13 was to a different spot on the lumbar and did not help much.    This last one was where I pointed to where the sharp pain was and he called it a 'regular epidural' as opposed to the previous one.   It really feels different.   The recent ice storm knocked down large limbs/trunk of the mulberry tree inside Salty's pen and crushed the fencing.   My little chain saw would not work so I used my sharp hand saw and got it removed from the fence with the big limbs still inside his pen.   I have pulled up the fencing enough that he can use it now and I will start wiring it back up better.   I have my projects to do inside and it is cold outside today so it is nice being inside with the woodburner going and just having a T-shirt being comfortable.    I can also enjoy sitting at the computer finally without being in pain.    mark
