DO YOU KNOW WHAT'S BREWING IN J-LAND?

Its time to have some more community fun! I'm going to concentrate on the fun and funny side of Halloween and leave the haunting side of it to those who do that so well .


      

TJ (tjexpressiona@aol.com) and her team have done a fantastic job of bringing Halloween to J-Land! The final touches are in place and it's time to have the kind of fun that is unique to J-Land.

A long awaited element of this festivity is Steven's (sepintx@aol.com) interactive graveyard. If you haven't already done any 'diging' over there, please click on the J-Land Graveyard graphic at the bottom of this entry to plant your tombstone. I just burried an old boyfriend there and captured his tombstone in the graphic .

I wasn't planning on posting anything that looked creepy since I have such a low threshold for fright..but I really love this background so I'm 'stepping out of my comfort zone' .

The countdown to Halloween is ticking! It will be here before we know it!  TJ (TJExpressions author of  Blog Away), is gearing up for the next community event which she calls- A Gloomaceous HALLOWEEN Bash 2004.

TJ came up with this idea right after the anniversary to keep the community festivities momentum going. This is a fun event that she is planning for the entire AOL Journals community! Everyone is invited to participate whether you've been in J-Land one day or since day one.

Several members of the community have already signed up to make this event faboolous! Although there will be some surprises, the list of who's doing what so far is posted. Click on the link below to check out the line-up. You can register there to do your own thing, or you can sign on to contribute to one of the events already listed. But hurry, the deadline to register (Oct. 22nd) is less than three weeks away!

Please help spread the word and tell your readers about this event so that no one will feel left out. You don't have to do anything spooky to participate.  I know whatever I do will be frightless ('cuz I scare easily J).   This entry is just a  minor 'pimping.' TJ was pimped big time recently when she was featured on one of the AOL welcome pages for orchestrating the Gloomaceous HALLOWEEN Bash ! Way to go TJ!

WHAT's NEXT????

Have you been wondering (like I have) what will we do now that the anniversary is over? Remember a few weeks ago when we had the Awards and the Anniversary going on at the same time!?! J-Land was alive with 'happenings'!

WELL...TJ (TJExpersions of Daily Round Trips) must have been wondering about the same thing because she has come up with a wonderful idea for another J-Land community event. The anniversary proved how creative this community is! So are you ready to put that creativity to work and dress up J-Land for a fall event!?!

I spilled the beans in the Cyber-Ball chat last night.

Please click on the graphic at the beginning of this entry for a little 'music'. Please keep in mind that Halloween doesn't have to be eerie. Hopefully even J-Landers who don't do cats, skeletons, bats and witches, etc. will have fun and participate in this next proposed community event.
