My Dad

Picture from Hometown

                                     "My Dad"

               The Evergreens

Some  trees lose their leaves in Fall,

 When Winter  winds blow cold

Yet some trees never lose a leaf,

They stand there wise and old.

They are the trees you see so clear,

 Upon the snowy scene,

They are God's special  kind of tree,

 They are the Evergreens.

What a great picture of your father.  I loved the poem, so meaningful at this cold and baren time of year.  Evergreens are very special, a good reminder of Spring.   Nice to visit with you Mary.
