GOOD MORNING.

At the start of this new day we still have warn tomato producing weather, At the moment it is 59, and I think that it is going to climb up to 75 again today. We are having lots of rain which is also going to be good. So why should'ent I smile.

I am begining to receive a lot of questions about producing tomatoes, I don't know very much, but what I do know I will gladly send to you. And you already know that there is no charge for any of this. All that I do like to get from you is a big smile, and maybe a picture of your tomato garden.

Dad,
I'll gladly send you a photo of our tomatoes but it may be a couple more months! Hey, I have an idea....why not ask your faithful readers to send in a photo of them smiling! I bet you'd get a bunch. Then if you want, you can post them, or not. Just enjoy all those smiles just for yourself!

When I get to talking about tomatoes I seem to forget everything else, I forgot to ask about you. How are you feeling this morning ? I hope that the answer is good, I am feeling better than I have in several days soIwant to get out there and as they " Stir up a little dust."

And I do have tea and coffee ready for you, be sure and stop in on your way to work, that makes my day. But don't come frowning, you know that I don.t like frowns.

Mother Naturejust doesn’t seem to want to agree with my timetable for planting tomatoes this year.

Severe thunderstorms and sporadic tornado warnings notwithstanding, the temperatures will go from a balmy and beautiful 75 for several days and then plummet rather suddenly to the 30s overnight.

As any true tomato gardener knows, these conditions are just not helping me start this year’s crop.

It was just last week that I finally started the first of my tomato seeds indoors. Yes, I realize I’m late, but you seriously wouldn’t believe the weather.
