Feeling Happy

ENTRY  #  THIRTEEN  HUNDRED  &  NINETY  NINE.

Have you ever tried this coffee? One of my Journal friends told me about it.

Time is so precious-do not waste it.

Good Morning.

Monday morning again and I am hoping that everone feels as good as I do this morning, if you are not I have some good hot tea and coffee ready for you, and also a smile, those two things might help you  to get going. Come sit down and we will try it out.

One reason that I am feeling so good this morning is because today is the day that I have talked about a long time , it't the day that those tomato plants are going in the ground. The weather is good, no rain and a tempeature of near 80. Jim my Dad and Kevin his son are coming down for the day and help us, so every thing is go. Mary will be taking a few pictures for us, Now you can see why I am happy.

When Mother Nature Has Other Plans

NestBy Michael Nolan

This is my first tomato growing season in my current home and I am still learning the idiosyncrasies of the property.

Before I moved in, the house belonged to the paternal grandparents of my beloved, and let’s just say that the green thumb they had is not hereditary.

One of the happier moments of my outdoor exploration was the discovery of what was once a respectable (if modest) tomato growing enclosure in the backyard.

It shows the telltale signs of many years of neglect, but the bones are good, and a quick glance at the soil underneath the growth revealed Read the rest of this entry »

Dad's Tomato Garden .) ( Information to help in producing tomatoes.)

Dad's Songbird and Rose Garden ( Get the name of your state bird.)

Dad's Fried Green Tomatoes ( Watch Dad fry green tomatoes.)

These three links above might be of some help to you, during the tomato season, please look at them often.  DAD...

These 3 web pages can be read in 8 different languages, so wherever you live you can read about Dad, and ask him about tomato problems that you may have. There is no charge for this, just a big smile from you will be enough for me Dad.

Hi, all!  Good to see you back and hope your p.c. woes are over.  No, haven't tried that coffee -- have you tried Gevalia?  You can get it delivered to your door, and a free coffeemaker to boot!  It is a very nice coffeemaker, and the coffee is gourmet.  But actually, I like Chock Full O' Nuts just fine, don't you? ;)

Hope your week is a good one, and that you will have news for us about tomatoes!

Best to you all, and big PURRS to the Princess beauty! ^^

Good Evening Dad. I hope you are well. I thought of you earlier today when i was preparing dinner. I had a baked potato with cheese, cucumber, egg and of course tomato. Unusual tomatoes, they were picked from the vine and still had the stalks! They were very good. Love to all, Pam xx
