Feeling Sad

ENTRY  #  FOURTEEN  HUNDRED  &  THIRTEEN

These two pictures  are by Dad.

Time is so precious-do not waste it.

Good Morning.

Thest two pictures  above are as you would know are from my tomato garden in 2007, I hope that I cand as good this year, I'm trying to do it.

I have sad in my mood space this morning and.  the reason is that Mary and I had to miss our wednesday night bible study.  We had planed all day on being there but when time come to go we were just not able to make the trip, We sure don't like to miss but when we can't make it, it makes us realize what these things mean to us, everything...

Nancy and some others of you have ask what brand of coffee that I am useing. At the present time it is Dunkin' Donuts. There is only one thing that I don't like about it and I guess you already know. the price. I am buying the whole bean coffee and then grinding it fresh every morning. to me it is good  and it will make you smile when you are drinking it. Come on sit down I am going to do the pouring this morning.

I spent some time yesterday watching  THE EAGLES  it was so interesting watching the care that they were giving their baby, feeding it and watching it's every move.

Kids Love Tomatoes!

Kid TomatoBy Kira Hamman

Unfortunately for tomato-worshipping parents, this is not necessarily true.

What kids love is (a) dirt, especially when combined with (b) water. Also (c) tools of any kind, particularly those used in (d) digging. Certain kids love (e) worms and (f) bugs.

And all kids tend to have a pride approaching zealotry in anything they produce themselves.

The combination of these factors makes them highly enthusiastic gardeners, and what they lack in skill they more than make up for in sheer joy.

So – get your kids growing tomatoes!

Here are some ideas to get you started:

1. Let kids grow cherry tomatoes, which surely must have been made for them. Even kids who refuse to eat a slice of tomato on a dinner plate will love popping Read the rest of this entry »

HERE IS MY THOUGHT FOR TODAY. TAKEN FROM OUR WED, NIGHT BIBLE STUDY, MATTHEW CHAPTER 20 VERSES  27 & 28.

" And whosever will be cheif among you , let him be your servant."

"Even as the son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister and to give his life a ransom for many."

The eaglet is getting bigger every day and looks like the mom is taking real good care of him or her!  How exciting it is to see them.

Your Thought For The Day is a wonderful one that bears thinking about by everyone.  Service and compassion and caring for others is what we are here to do, no matter what religion we claim, or even if we do not claim one at all.

Those are nice pictures of last year's tomato crop!  Let's hope this year's are as good and maybe even better.

So sorry you missed your study last night -- I know how important it is to you and Ms. Mary and how important it is to have regular spiritual input into our lives.

Today the escrow closed on my home and I no longer have a home in the Mojave.  I am sad, too.  But life goes on all around us.  Let us see what we can do, yes?

My best to you all, and big PURRS to the lovely Princess! ^^

    Good afternoon Dad,
I hope your crop of tomatoes will be as good as 2007 was.  Great photo.  Sorry you and Mary weren't able to get out yesterday...maybe next week.  I have tried the coffee you mentioned...your right about the price being high...seems everything's going up.  Have a lovely Thursday...hugs and love to you both...and Princess too...

Good morning Dad, those chicks sure are pretty this morning. I have been checking often on the baby eaglet myself. It is so cute and fluffy. It won't be long until your tomatoes will be as big as those from last year. Stay safe during those storms, they will come on down this way aslo. Helen
