May 28th 2008. In Dad's garden.

Time is so precious-do not waste it.

Good  Morning.

Are you smiling this morning ? I hope that we all can begin this day in a happy mood. Let's have a good hot cup of hot tea or maybe coffee, I know that will help us get going in the right direction. And I always like to have some good thoughts, think of some of my blessings that have come  my way, sometimes I am surprised they have been so many.

I am still feeling fairly good, I did sleep good and I feel rested  so I think that I am going to be able to get outside and do a few things. If I can't do much maybe I can sit and watch the birds, they are real busy this season of the year.

The weather is still warm and we are having a shower almost every afternoon. loook below at what we can expect fro a couple of days.

Thursday: A mix of clouds and sun. High 84F. Winds light and variable.
Thursday night: Mainly clear. Low 66F. Winds light and variable.

Friday: Partly cloudy. Warm. High 89F. Winds SSW at 5 to 10 mph.
Friday night: Mostly clear skies. Low 72F. Winds SSW at 5 to 10 mph.

 

Saturday (24 hours): Scattered thunderstorms possible. Highs in the low 90s and lows in the upper 60s.

 

Me and my tomatoes  both like to see those high 80's and low 90's. Do you  beleive that a tomato plant can smile, I think I saw a little grin yesterday,  Dad.

I don't know if you will be able to read this  above or not but I am goimg to show it anyway, When Jade visitid Mary and I on Monday she gave us this card. She will be leaving for her homeland the first of next week. We are going to miss her.   Dad and Mary.

  Hello Dad ~ I could read Jade's note to you and Mary ~ she sounds like such a thoughtful young lady ~ can imagine how much you are both going to miss her ~ Your rose is beautiful ~ Glad you are still feeling good and hope you manage to get some things done in the Garden ~ if not I am sure you will enjoy just watching the birds ~ as you say they are so busy this time of the year ~ I am glad the little Eaglet is being taken care of ~ I hope it will be OK ~ thank you for my "Cuppa" and your company ~ Ally x
