Ballpark tax break looks dead
Fiscal sanity appears to rule in the Florida Senate. Legislation to give a tax rebate to the Florida Marlins' owners so as to build a baseball park now appears to be dead.
I said it before. If the Marlins management wants a new ballpark, do what Joe Robbie did in the 1980's. Get private financing!
