Feeling Embarrassed
Hearing wheel of fortune!
O.K.! I CAN'T MULTI-TASK.....I'M SORRY!
O.K! call me a "JAR HEAD!" I guess by now everyone knows of my mistake! I was just trying to change the color on my journal and call out spelling words with Sarah and I clicked on the wrong thing and made my journal go private! OOPS! I've been apologizing all afternoon! I changed it back but, didn't alert you guys! Tell you the truth I didn't now it worked like that! I just figured out what the alert is!! You remember my ordeal with the digital camera!lol I AM SO VERY SORRY!!
Well, It is going to be short and sweet tonight! We have just been issued tornado watch and some bad weather is moving in so I need to make it quick!
So, I can't seem to interest anyone any "RATTLESNAKE RODEO" tickets I thought I would just share another snake story with you! But, first let me tell Miss Sheila I hope you didn't get upset with me about the Rattlesnake Rodeo! Opp is her hometown! but, snakes is not my cup of tea!! AT All! I seem to have Hoof and Mouth disease a lot lately!
There was one Sunday night we were coming in from church and I always go in through our back garage door to open up the house and let everyone else in! We were in such a hurry when we left I left the back light off! Low and behold there was a rather large White Oak snake climbing up the door post and I didn't see him!! When I pushed open the door HE FELL OVER ON ME!!!
Well there was only two things I could do at that moment!! 1.) mess up my clothes or 2.) scream like a woman!! ..............I went for the screaming!
The hoe was just inside the door and I grab it and went to work on him! I broke the my Hoe handle! I just kept beating him with the handle! By the time my wife and kids got back there I had him chopped into several pieces! Denise calmly said, Randy I think he's dead! I just had to beat him a couple of more times! I told her I just really wanted to make sure! I still .... shake when I think about it! My kids still laugh about it! Living in the country we have them in our yard a lot during the summer! Joshua likes to kill them and hide them where I will find them! He hung one in a tree one day and I didn't see it until I was cutting grass! I ran all over my eucalyptus tree!!
Hope everyone has a good evening!
God Bless
Randy

no offense taken. That is our 48th Rodeo. I can handle seeing the snakes when somebody is controlling them, but it's a different story if they are in my yard. We have been lucky so far, we haven't seen a poisonous snake in our yard, but we killed a small snake last weekend about a foot long. I think it might be a hog nose snake but not sure. I bought a book on snakes in the southeast and it told how to tell poisonous from non-poisonous. Have a great Sunday...Sheila

Are you sure Ypu aren't 78. No offense because a person my age just about hits every wrong Key for 2 she types. lol You do great with your journal. I just thought that you had changed it because you had some kooks that got on there. Is the white oak (I think you said) snake like a bull snake or garden snake here in Ne? I don't think I care if they are poisoinous or not If a snake fell on me I woud be running and screaming like the devil was out to get me. I love your Journal Randy. You like Jack, Have a freat sense of humor. Lucy
