Tuesday Tails

Good morning!  It has finally stopped raining and it is a beautiful morning.  The animals are all soaking up the vitamin D & feelin' fine!

Today you will meet Bobby.  I brought Bobby & his brother home from our office when they were tiny little babies. That was on August 24, 2002, which makes him almost 6.

Bobby & Tony (his brother) live with me in my house.  I try to never say I have favorites as I love them all and they each return love differently BUT.....this little fellow is my pride & joy.  I love him so so so so much ~ I cannot imagine life without my Bobby.

He acts more like a dog than a cat.  He rolls over on his back for belly rubs and fetches his toys and brings them back.

He greets Doug every night when he comes home from work.  No matter where Bobby is when he hears Doug come in he is right there with a meow welcoming "daddy" home.

He loves Doug and I think, (although he most likely will deny it) the feeling is mutual.  Bobby is often laying on Doug's lap and each night when we go to bed Bobby cuddles next to Doug for a while then he usually walks over to me, snuggles a little and then goes out to "his" chair for the night.

I carry him around like a baby ~ I think he would stay in my arms all day.  He also helps me with the laundry.  Yes indeed...he is always in the wash basket batting at the socks and just clowning around when it is laundry time.

He is full of personality & is such a cool cat.  When he was a baby he was so funny looking ~ he looked like ET.  He had enormous eyes,   thankfully his head grew~~ here's my baby boy.

This is his favorite spot lately, a robin has a nest & he is obsessed with her.  See all the little nose marks on the window!  He is annoyed with me for interrupting his bird watching, he is giving me his "I am annoyed, now leave me alone." look.

Awww how cute! I had one that looked just like him. All my yellow tabby cats loved to talk.. all the time!! lol Thank you for your kind words on my journal. The other 2 dogs are doing better than I thought. I catch myself looking for Cherokee. I imagine I will for a while. Have a wonderful week with lots of blessings. Janie

Hi Lisa, glad to meet you too.  That's a great story about Molly.  I love animals and respect them.  It's a pleasure to read your journal.

I love Bobby but I may be biased as I have a thing for orange tabbies.  His ears look like he could have some manx in his background somewhere.  (the tips of hair)  He gorgeous and I'm sure he doesn't mind living the privilaged life of a spoiled cat.
    Love,
    Jamie

Bobby is cool!  I love the nose prints on the window and I love that expression that says "OK.  You got your picture....now leave me alone to birdwatch."
