Xen's Mixed Bag

Can't believe it's been so long since i last posted. Gonna get with it and enter lots from now on. Yeah. Yesterday mom , Mrs. Eva Braxton was filmed at home. She recorded her memories about her early years in Middlesex County, Virginia. She spoke of the fact that her dad was born a slave. When he was freed as a child he worked for people who were very mean. He was beaten and abused and worked for nothing but meager room and board for his family. He got some land and built a house for his  seven children and wife. His house was burnt down by some white men. He built another one. Mothers 101 year old mind was sharp and awesome. I can't remember what i had for dinner last night.

i love the things Al Sharpton says in the debates for presidency So does the audience. Yet when the pundits speak of him, it is always with a smirk. He can't win, they say. What they don't say but we all know is, he won't win only because his skin is dark. What a shame.
