A new lease on life

My nephew was an organ donor.  When I spoke with my sister, she said that the doctors told her that they were able to harvest my nephew's heart, lungs, liver, pancreas, kidneys, & corneas.

So--some good has come out of this and today there are quite a few people who have a new lease on life.

I hope you do not mind......... but after leaving my last comment  i was being nosey and read this entry.

I think that that was a very courageous thing for your nephew to do and an even more courageous thing for your sister to be able to do, whilst it is a wonderful thing to do, it cannot be easy for the person who has to agree with it. The good news is that others will have a chance of life thanks to your nephew.

    God bless them
    hugs Jayne
