Hello
It's been so long since I've written an update, I have so much to say. I'll give you the short version. hehe.
I got a part time job!! In the evenings for a few hours at a store called Ross. I love that store!! It doesn't pay a whole lot but I will get a huge discount on clothing and shoes for us. That will help immensely. I start this weekend. I'm kind of excited because I need something just for me, ya know? To get out of the house and actually be around adults for a while. That probably sounds strange to you but really I do spend most of my time with children.
Kara also got a job at the local theme park painting faces. She hasn't started yet but will very soon. I'm very proud of her artist talents and that she can do something she loves and get paid for it!!
My cousin had a baby on Valentines day. In the back seat of the car on the way to the hospital in Indiana in 13 degree weather. Luckily they stopped in front of a fire station so the paramedics came pretty quickly. Her Father in law was driving and she said it's time...get me out of this truck...and he said he turned around to look and the baby's head was coming out....he said "that's when all hell broke loose!" That just cracked me up. The father actually helped deliver the baby. But mom and baby are doing fine and are home now.
We had our family reunion this past weekend. It was really nice to see family that I don't get to see very often. It was supposed to be at the park but then it rained so they canceled then called again and said y'all come...we'll have it at my aunts house. So it turned out nice. I made a ham, broccoli casserole, green bean casserole, and a chocolate cake. Well my brother made the broccoli and green bean casseroles but he is my brother so he is an extension of me. haha. I told everybody I made it when he wasn't listening. :o)
My brother just got a brand new 4 wheel drive Dodge pick up truck. They need that where they live in the Ocala National Forest. My SIL actually drives it and she looks so funny in the big ole truck. I told her come spring she's gonna be pulling everybody out of the mud. hehe. They like to play in the mud!!
Kara is fixin to graduate y'all. I'm getting really excited about that. Also planning to have a party for her.

You got a job? WTG...I know what you mean about getting out of the house and a discount to boot. Your Kara is graduating? Sheesh, where does time fly? I know where she gets her artistic talent from. My daughter was SUPPOSED to arrive on Valentines day ... she decided to come early and make her own day. :-)
What an exciting birth story - thank goodness they were close to the fire station for help.
Have fun with the job - it made perfect sense to me. Besides, the discounts are sweet.

That was your cousin?? I saw that on our local news!! I'm in Indiana, you know. Glad she and the baby are doing well. Glad you guys had a nice reunion, too. The food sounds wonderful!
