Hello Journal, Old Friend

I know, I know...it's been a while since I wrote. I seemed to be saying that with every entry. I just haven't had time to journal. That is very sad because I love it so much and I miss reading about all my friends in J-Land. I do read the alerts though and comment now and then. Maybe once I get used to my new work schedule and figure out how to balance everything out, I can be more productive and do all the things I love. I haven't had a lot of time for PSPing either and you know how much I love that. Still have some tag requests to fill from last week.
My new job is going pretty good. They have me doing the fitting rooms. I don't mind it as long as the store is busy which makes the time go by fast. Otherwise, it's extremely boring. I've been working evenings, 5 - 10 and sometimes 1 -eight hour day on the weekends. It's not bad at all, I just need adjust. WE ALL need to adjust.
Ryan has been helping as much as he can even though I know he's tired when he comes home from work. He does the best that he can. He helps with laundry and dinner and homework. He is very supportive and I love him very much. The children have been helping a little but we need to work on that.
Speaking of children, they had FCAT testing last week. The FCAT is a "big deal" standardized test that the government requires and I HATE it. I know I have ranted about it before but it basically makes me mad because the results of the testing determine the funding for each school. RED TAPE, POLITICAL, MUSH. No Child Left Behind my eye. : ) I won't go into it long and loud here but trust me...IT'S.NO.GOOD.
My daughter's graduation is quickly approaching. I want to have a huge party for her here at our house but those people that were staying us for a while still haven't come to get all their things. I called them a couple of days ago and told them that it's time to come and get it. If they don't come by the end of this week then I will give them a 2 week deadline and after that I will have a yard sale and then give the rest of the stuff to charity. I'm over it.
I'm also still babysitting the little one during the day and I'm trying to find another baby too. Preferrably a newborn because I love babies.
The reason I am working and babysitting so much is so that I can go to school and get a nail license and then turn my garage into a salon. Then I won't have to work at a job or babysit. Nail techs make pretty good money and I think I would be very good at it. Plus I know a LOT of people who get manicures. So, that's a goal I am shooting for. I have to save up enough money to pay for the school, the test and license, the supplies I would need, and the materials to convert the garage. I have been thinking about this for a long time. Time to stop thinking and start doing. I might even do facials and waxing. Only on the face though. lol I wouldn't want to do waxing down...well, you know.
Who wants to go surfing???

FCATS went pretty smoothly at my daughter's school. A little confusion about the kids eating breakfast at school...she eats at home but her teacher insisted she eat something there too. LOL. Glad it is over...now we have rehersals's the rest of the year for the school play in May! :)
