My Prediction Came True!

Thursday night of this week (February 1), I sent an e-mail to my friends, Jan and Susan Huffman, with my prediction for Groundhog's Day. I said that the Groundhog would not see his shadow.
And on Friday morning, Punxsutawney Phil did not see his shadow. That means an early spring is coming.
At their annual Groundhog Day party today, Jan and Susan awarded me with the Bill Murray DVD titled, "Groundhog Day." I was the only one whose prediction was right.
Now, I'm off to the microwave to make the popcorn.
