Holy Conflict in Minnesota

Is the priest overreacting or is he just showing concern for the attendees at his church?  In Bertha, Minnesota, a Catholic priest has filed a restraining order against the parents of a severely autistic 13-year-old boy.  The priest claims that the boy is a danger to other members of the church because of recent incidents because the boy is over six feet tall and weighs 225 pounds.  He did offer accommodations to the parents, but they refused because they know how to take of their child by sitting on him in church and leaving before Sunday service ends.

Local advocate organizations are on the side of the parents and want the bishop to have the restraining order rescinded.

Not all autistic children are alike.  Is there a danger?  The autistic boy did accidentally bump into a few people while exiting the church and, in one occasion, injured a young girl.
