Babies?
One of my penpals mentioned in her letter that women having babies around 30 years of age and old have babies with problems and alot of them have down syndrome. I thought about the fact that Im 29. Theres no way possible for me to get pregnant now unless I just go jump on some random guy. Im not crazy I dont want to have a baby with just anyone. So theres a huge possibility that if I do ever get pregnant it wont be until after Im thirty. Have a kid is scary enough by itself, then having to worry about if your child will have birth defects. Im not finacially stable enough to even have a kid right now so I definately dont want to get pregnant until Im able to take care of a child. But still just the thought that Im running out of time. Makes me sad that maybe I wont ever have any children.

Not all women who give birth ater 30 have babies born with problems cus it's alot of younger mothers who face the same. I'm not a doctor i was just quoting something i read but now days they test your blood for things like that so i wouldn't worry much.

)))))))))))))))))))))))I wouldnt worry about birth defects.I am 36,but I know for me,I dont want any kids,I thought I did,but,I kinda think its to late for me.But,than you never know and even than I would hae to stop all my medicines.Have a good evening. -
Actually, women are having babies at older ages now than ever. I wouldn't worry about birth defects.

oh my goodness dont you dare worry about this. I had my first baby at 26 and she did have a birth defect.....a mild one, but still there. My second baby at 31 and she was perfectly healthy. I think your mid thirtees is just fine to have babies, just have fun in your life and know you will have some kids someday and you will. Believe it.

Actually the chances of having twins is a greater possibility after thirty. I gave birth to healthy twins when I was 30 years old. Many women over thirty are giving birth to twins for some reason.
