This story is so stupid in so many ways, it is only worth writing about as a plea:

Please do not vote for this woman ever, under any circumstances: Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee, D-Texas

1. who the F cares?!?!?!

2. aren't there more important things to whine about? Does having a tropical storm named after you really help the African Amercian cause in some way?

3. Would someone else not bitch about racial stereotypes if we had a Hurricane Tyrone or Tropical Storm Shemiqua?

For Christ's sake - we have Hurricane Kevin on the list for this year - could Kevin not be a black man's name?!?!?

Oh, no, we need to use racially stereotypical black names.....what an SMF!

  I was wondering if there ever was or will be a hurricane or tropical storm named Tyrone.  I did an internet search and that is how I found this site.  Oh well, there has never been a storm named Tyrone apparently, but I think it would be a cool name for a hurricane.  Shaquille and Kulanga would be good names too.
