Ecstatic | Public Enemy

tomorrow morning its off to Boston for a weekend of Red Sox games at Fenway, Guiness & Bushmills (separate glasses) at the Black Thorn, and Fresh Lob-stah for every meal.

Its a pity the Red Sox are in the tank and fading fast from the playoff race, but hey, it IS August, so what would we expect? Games at Fenway are special regardless of the Sox success or lack thereof. I'll post photos on Monday, but really this is something everyone should experience.

The best part about the trip might be that by leaving I avoid making a presentation to our big boss about a new product we're trying to build - instead letting my boss handle it. Thanks Jefe!

There will be little sound or fury in the next 3 days, but for those 2 or 3 poor souls who read this, you'll be alright, know I'll be at Fenway being tortured by the Sox awful bullpen blowing leads and losing heartbreaking games...bring on that guiness and bushmills!

Go SOX!  I love baseball, though I have sworn off  buying tickets to any major league games of any kind due to the rising costs of everything from tickets to souveneirs to food in the concession stands.  I found "farm" ball in So Cal a few years ago and have had many hours of fun rooting for the farm teams.
I do recall attending a game a few years ago than ran over 20 innings, with "my" team ultimately losing.  Sure was fun to be one of the die-hards who stayed in the stadium until the very wee hours of the morning though.  Enjoy your journal and hoe you have fun at Fenway.
